We came to have late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were in the area and were hungry, so I did a quick search for restaurants nearby on Yelp and Mary Korean Bistro popped up. They are one of the newer restaurants in Fairfield. The restaurant was not busy, so we were seated right away. There was a nice ambiance, kind of a trendy contemporary feel. They give you a physical menu or you can scroll through the tablet at each table where you can order your food or the server can...
My family and I really enjoyed the food and experience at Maru! You choose your main entree items, then all of the unlimited complimentary condiments are brought to your table for a traditional sharable experience. Delicious and worth the visit!
Very good food! My favorite dishes are bulgogi, japchae, and the honey butter fried chicken. The somaek(?), which is soju mixed with Korean beer (Cass), was also pretty good. Great service, friendly staff, food came out relatively quickly too. Only downside is that space was a little tight. Will come again, though :)
