We’re visiting California from Sydney, Australia, and stumbled upon Sourdough & Co in Fairfield (3336 N Texas St, near Raley’s ) — and what an amazing find!
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles, a cozy yet modern ambiance, and the smell of fresh, flavorful food. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and made our experience feel special.
The food? Absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. We found it surprisingly affordable too, especially for the high quality and generous portions.
There’s plenty of parking, and the location is perfect for families and even dogs. Whether you prefer indoor or outdoor dining, they’ve got you covered.
We highly recommend Sourdough & Co to anyone in the area — locals and visitors alike. It was one of our best dining experiences in California so far, and we’ll definitely be back before we leave!

I had a pesto chicken sandwich and Greek salad. It was all amazing. Generous portion on the salad and came with a sourdough baguette portion. I recommend this for anyone who loves sourdough, good sandwiches, salads, or soups.

New owners, same type as the subway owners. Raised prices and SKIMPING ON EVERYTHING. AVOID AT ALL COST. SANDWICH HAS BARELY ANY MEAT ON IT. IT IS BASICALLY A BREAD SANDWICH.

Employees were friendly. Food was delicious. My wife and I shared the pastrami Rueben and the French dip and they were both delicious. They came out hot and the ingredients all tasted fresh. The clam chowder and chicken poblano soup were also good. While we were there the employees also were sweeping and it was all very clean. Both high chairs broken buckles so we had to hold the baby the whole time. Other than that everything was good.

One of the employees walked out of the bathroom with a trash bag. She grabbed a glove, pulled my bread out of the oven then handed it to me. She did not wash her hands. Sorry to break it to you but it defeats the purpose of you don't wash your hands before placing glaves on. And she over used a glove for one hand. Idk what she was touching in the bathroom... But I do know she had had trash in her hand. And she saw me watching her do that. Foul ..

A man in front of me was complaining about them using the same glove and handling money and making sandwiches. I ordered my sandwiches, never got my sandwich and I was before 5 other people. They apologized and gave me a cookie. So I was there for at least 45 minutes. Waiting on food. A lady brought a sandwich up. Not sure. What was in it, a hair or a bug? She gave it back to them.

It's a little dark in there. The server was just dry, put my change on the counter and the coins rolled underneath the register. At first she didn't want to move it until I said something.When we got our food, a salad, she handed us the bag vertically. We had to ask was this the salad because she packaged it like a sandwich.
Parking: It's right next to an urgent care clinic, so you might have to park in the other spaces in the next rows.
Wheelchair accessibility: One handicapped spot in the front.
Today was definitely different! A new crew working today. Was very slow, took a little to long to get a chowder bread bowl. When I get home with it, it's burnt. I'm not happy. Atmosphere a zero, food a zero burnt and cold chowder. I'm looking for a place to leave a
