This place has become our annual stop after camping in the Sierras. Juan and his wife’s hospitality made our party of 11 feel very welcome. We all ordered different items from the menu and the favorite was the queso tacos filled with asada, el pastor, pollo and cabeza. Some even went back for seconds. The agua frescas were cold and so refreshing (cucumber lime and jamaica). Everything was just as delicious as it was a year ago!
They also sell organic honey (regular, orange and sage) and I was so happy they still had some available for purchase.

“I ordered 2 tripa tacos and 2 gorditas de chicharrón. The tripas were actually good but very underseasoned. The gorditas were fried and to my surprise they had nopales which was a plus, however I could tell they were from a can and were dry. The staff was ehhh 5/10. The food was alright 7.5/10. They need to season up more and a smile goes a long way. I would come back tho.“

“Amazingly delicious, definitely worth the stop during my road trip. You'll get plenty of perfectly seasoned and cooked meat along with fresh veggies (onion cilantro tomato etc). You can also order ahead via phone! Never seen that perk at a roadside food truck before.

If you have never had mahi mahi, I HIGHLY recommend it. Mahi Mahi is a mild, flaky, white meat fish. It’s from the tropics and, to date, is only wild caught. If you like halibut, you’ll like mahi mahi. I prefer it with the garlic butter as I really want to taste the delicate flavor of the fish. Don’t miss this local Visalia, CA eatery. So i went and repeated my requests and with no hesitation they went and replaced them perfectly the way I ordered. I was soooo excited because a lot of times JIB have an attitude about replacing my tacos but I was blessed they corrected themselves with no problem. Much appreciated“
