The Village Pub offers a relaxed vibe in an elegant Victorian setting within a beautifully crafted building. The menu provides choices from light and casual to more substantial offerings and comfort food. Specific standout dishes include the delicious smash burger with all the fixings and special sauce, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, crispy golden brown tater tots, and crispy fries. Appetizers are delicious, especially the herbed butter. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake is rich in flavor with a crispy outer layer and a moist inside, served with fruit compote and whipped cream.
The beverage program is wonderful, featuring delightful cocktails such as the amaretto whiskey sour and the Blood and Sand. They also serve a very frothy and strong latte from a legit espresso machine. The staff are very kind, helpful, well-trained, and accommodating, going beyond expectations. Service makes guests feel very welcomed.
The ambiance is memorable with a different atmosphere; it can be decked out for Christmas for a festive vibe or feature a cozy fireplace. Intricate and beautiful details are found throughout, including in the dining and bar area and even the bathroom. The overall experience is very nice, fantastic, and beyond expectations, leaving guests more than satisfied. It is a great place to check out, with new owners showing lots of pride in their efforts.
