Why do they always ONLY have one person taking orders and ringing people out? The wait is unbearable. I will no longer come here. Bad service.

Love Bad Bakers but this location needs an attitude check and a reminder on how to make senorita bread.
Girl listes off 3 donuts when I only ordered 2 so I asked her to confirm which ones I got. She got an attitude and proceeded to fling the bag open to show me how many she had put in there. Also got an order for Senorita bread and not one of the pieces was fully covered like other locations make it. There was barely anything on the bottom either making them super dry and not very appealing.
My daughter liked her donut, even tho there was an extremely limited selection and mostly Plain Janes instead of the funky creations Bad Bakers is known for. Very disappointed and feel like I wasted my time and money.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to get this off my chest. First of all the gentleman that greeted me was wearing a Lucifer/satan shirt which is wrong in all types of ways I’m not sure what company would think that’s normal or okay and then to make matters worse he had a hat on that said “I love Dads” or something to that effect. You guys should implement uniforms or dress code have some sort of respect for the public that shops and spends hard earned money with you.

When I went they only had two vegan options left for the day. I tried both and was pleasantly surprised! The donuts were moist, flavorful, and light (for cake donuts). Definitely recommend!

My last two visits I purchased an inedible donut and they placed in a paper bag with no wax paper to cover the icing which is sticky. It makes a horrible mess as all the icing sticks to the inside of the bag. When I first started purchasing here they used other containers which were more protective. The food is not cheap, more expensive than a regular donut shop, so would expect better as most of their donuts have frosting and or toppings. This will be my last purchase from here.

While en route to Lake Tahoe, I made a delightful pit stop at Bad Bakers in El Dorado, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. I believe her name was Tish, and she set the tone for the entire visit. Since it was my first time, I wasn’t quite sure what to order, but she was patient, attentive, and walked me through the variety of options with a smile. (I later found out she’s also BTS ARMY—an instant connection!)

The display was a feast for the eyes—rows of colorful donuts, tempting cookies, and an array of savory treats. I decided to go with a dozen assorted donuts, and I couldn’t have been happier. What makes these donuts stand out is not just their playful presentation but also the clever addition of syringes filled with sauces—caramel, white chocolate, strawberry, and lemon. It’s interactive, fun, and gives you the freedom to customize every bite.

The donuts themselves were outstanding: fluffy on the inside, lightly crunchy on the outside, and bursting with flavor. My family and I had such a wonderful time sharing them, with each of us finding our own favorite.

Tish’s kindness and the quality of the treats really left an impression. I’ll definitely be back again, and next time, I’ll be diving into the savory side of the menu. Bad Bakers is more than just a bakery—it’s a happy surprise worth stopping for.

I went there because they were listed as having malasadas. They had none and the counter girl said they don't make them. I asked why they advertise them and she just shrugged. (The stuff on the shelves looked pretty good - don't know about their prices.)

The staff is always friendly. It’s spotless inside. The only issue I have is everything looks and taste so good it’s hard to pick! I forgot to take a pic before I took a bite!
