We sat in the bar and ordered dinner and drinks. The food was good, but the drinks were poorly made. The bartender showed no interest in making the drinks correctly which made us think that they were not free poured. Just not the level of serviced we expect.

WOW....great experience from the beginning to the end. Our server Andrew was excellent with service and recommendations. Dim Sum basket was a winner ? The Filet of Beef Steak Kew was amazing, asparagus cooked to perfection. Orange Chicken was perfectly done. I decided to try the brown rice, I'll go white next time. Definitely going back to try more entrees!

We discovered Fats thanks to a helpful Uber driver and now make sure to visit everytime we're in the area! The food is excellent! My favorites have been the mushroom and green beans and the Thai Seafood Pot! The coconut red curry was sinful and addictive! The only complaint if I had to give one is that they keep the dining room a little too dark and it's hard to read the menu.

Unfortunately, we had eaten at this place we had tasted the hot and sour soup, it tasted nothing like hot and sour soup. The rice we had was overcooked. The beef was super chewy. The chairs we sat on were broken and the bathroom doorknob was broken.

Really bland food. Very under seasoned and definitely a lack of depth in the dishes. Maybe we came on a bad day or picked some bad dishes, but this was super underwhelming. Ambiance and service was good though.

I have eaten at Fat's and their other restaurants many times over the years. It's a Sacramento institution. Then I moved to the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California which has changed my expectations of excellence in different Asian cuisines.

The Honey Walnut Prawns are a personal favorite and were good. Although the portion size is now Supersized like McDonalds! The Dim Sum basket was really disappointing. After spending years among friends, neighbors and fabulous Asian food in the San Gabriel Valley, I'm now accustomed to smaller more delicate Dim Sum, not gargantuan greasy blobs that take 3 to 4 bites to finish. The Emperor's Garden vegetables were overcooked and limp instead of bright with a little snap and I didn't find any chilies. Banana pie...always delicious.

It's been 10 years because of kids. After tonight it won't be 10 more. Just as we remembered. Great date night. Would recomend.

A fine place with very good service. The 3 stars is due to value. It is expensive for the food quality. The experience is overall good

The food was good. I used to always go to Fat’s in Roseville but decided to try the one in Folsom this time. We loved the food; the taste was awesome. My only complaint is that the rice was on the dry side. Also, if you plan to get to-go boxes, be aware that the food won’t taste as good and will dry out in a couple of hours. The ambiance was 10/10. Our server was okay—neither too good nor too bad, just very matter-of-fact. I appreciate smiles and warm welcomes, so maybe that's just me. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
