Well. Even a great food chain like In N Out screws up and they sure did today. . . . .SHORTED, after waiting 45 minutes at the Folsom drive through and drove all the way home. . BIG SURPRISE. Wouldn't be a big deal, but unfortunately this was dinner for six people tonight, and there's no way we are going back (Totally unfeasible at this point) -- So I have Absolutely No Problem Whatsoever Leaving this 1-star review publicly today, as this is a huge inconvenience right now. Paid for the full order too, so I hope this review stings as much as the comments flying around our household right now.

The staff at the Folsom In n Out are so kind! They pay attention to special orders and always get them correct. The place is clean and neat! Great job In n Out crew!

Had a wonderful visit to In-N-Out! Despite the store being super busy, the staff handled everything smoothly and efficiently. A special shoutout to Victoria—she was incredibly cheerful and provided excellent service with a smile. The restaurant was very clean and well organized, and as always, the food was fresh and delicious. Great job to the whole team for keeping things running so well even during the rush!

This in n out moves extremely slow. They have two cashiers outside sometimes to combat the traffic but the way it’s operated makes no sense. Yes get in the shortest lane, but then cashier #2 will finish the order before cashier #1 and we still have to sit there and wait for cashier #1 to finish. This makes things take way too long. Not to mention, it doesn’t even matter who gets here first at this point. A little annoying.

The parking lot is a hot mess. Chaos! If you plan to park in the lot, just make sure you don’t park in the spots next to the double drive thru lane. If you do, you may find yourself stuck there for quite awhile. You’ll need to get the coordinated cooperation, of multiple drivers in the double drive thru lane, to back out of the space. Then you’re stuck for the ride until you can bail out of the drive thru lane. Ugh.

At peak times, the drive thru lane is ridiculously long. It’s not an uncommon sight to see a queue of cars stretching out onto Old Placerville Road. This location is the only In and Out location in Folsom.

Staff are great but not car valets. They don’t monitor the traffic in the lot. The food is standard In and Out, prepared as expected.
