Great customer service and good selections to choose from!
We ordered the BBQ, pancit, and the a couple of vegetable dishes. Food was good and the prices were reasonable. Filipino food is usually a bit more expensive but the prices here were reasonable. It's bit out of the way but we'd come back.
First time ever at this restaurant and when I am back in the states I will definitely go there. Great people and amazing food!

Kabayan Filipino Restaurant is a Filipino casual counter service eatery in the Folsom neighborhood. The restaurant serves up some darn tasty food. Customers drove from Yuba City and Roseville just to try it, and it was worth it. The menu changes daily and is varied enough. The eatery is not particularly large, so when it is a full house, it gets crowded cozy, but the vibes and feels like a house party. The attached grocery is a big plus.
Great Food, Great Service, & Great People. The staff is super nice. The owner was cashiering and was super helpful and engaging with a big smile. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Specific meals mentioned include Pancit, Rice, Kare-Kare, Bicol Express, Lumpia, Pork BBQ, Fried Chicken, Ginisang Pusit, Pork Kare Kare, and Halo-Halo. The kare kare is very great, with peanuts that can be tasted and meat so tender it literally fell apart and melted in the mouth. The Pork Kare Kare is served with a side of fermented shrimp paste. The Ginisang Pusit squid is super tender, not mushy nor rubbery, with a sweetness and slight spiciness. The barbecue pork skewers are very tasty. Everything looked picture perfect. Highly Recommend!
