The food is ok, although, $21 for eggs Benedict, is like I’m having breakfast at a manhattan diner. Service is almost absent: if reminded several times, your order will be provided, if reminded again, you’ll get utensils. The place though, is atmospheric and cozy.

This is a great place with several great vegan options for breakfast or lunch! I had the avocado sourdough toast and fruit cup. It's so close to the American River Bike Trail and Lake Natoma.

This is my favorite coffee/bakery spot in the Folsom area. Every time i'm visiting, I come here, you know, for lovely food and great coffee. The patio is in a fantastic spot. Fresh flowers. Sunshine. Foliage. Butterflies. Quaint little downtown atmosphere. I usually have white chocolate mocha coffee, fantastic the blueberry or lemon crumble danish of some sort with fresh local fruit. Today, I had a spinach strawberry salad with blue cheese crumbles & candied pecans. But the quiche looked so tempting.

The most unprofessional experience i have had with a baker EVER. I reached out to this buisness in person, they told me to reach out to the baker via email. Website says at least 7 days for custom cakes i reached out at 16 days out. After jerking me around not even writing back for a week at a time. Amanda finally writes me back on the date of the event “apologizing” stating i assume you’ve moved on if not id still like to make your cake. I wrote back and said absolutely lets move forward same cake. She wrote back and said i assume you wont a smaller cake i said no same size (2 tier) that was 3 WEEKS AGO lol. She never responded back! Clearly she tried saving face. They did a cake for me a few years back in the pandemic. i liked it and chose 2 return and pick a small local buisness. But to get treated like that was a total let down and disrespectful!

Horrible customer service. Bought the tiramisu cake for my sober mom and her grandkids to celebrate her bday. No mention of alcohol in it whatsoever, not on the website, not the store, not google. Thank god my brother in law tasted it first and warned us. No one else wanted to eat it, it was a waste. My sister called and they told her it’s on the menu. I called later to ask which menu exactly showed this and they said they’ll call me back, and never did.

We waited over an hour for our food, and watched many other patrons who ordered after us get served first. The staff was friendly and somewhat apologetic. It was a nice gesture to offer free bakery treats but I think they had offered us a refund.

This place is so needlessly expensive! I got a slice of quiche that came with a side of fruit, a kids meal (a scrambled egg, some fruit and 1 slice of bacon) and a latte for $40!! A breakfast sandwich itself is $20! And their baked goods aren’t even that good. The quiche was yummy but everything else I’ve had is whatever. Their staff is very nice and I love the big patio but wow please lower your prices!!

With only 8 customers and no line, I ordered a chai tea latte, Mediterranean pasta bowl and bread pudding. After getting water and finding a seat the cashier brought me my chai tea in about 10 min. Then I watched as she removed her apron and went to the back. About another 15 min went by and as I stood up to inquire I saw her come back to the front register. She then must of realized my bread pudding was done being warmed and brought it to me. I said to her that I had not received my food yet. She said rudely ”you should have. ” I said but I didn’t and as she turned I said I would like another chai tea and she said she couldn’t. I was headed to the register to pay when she said that. I can only think she thought I was asking for a free refill but she should have asked me and not assumed. This was the 2nd rude thing. I saw her ask another employee about my pasta and the employee pointed to the register area. She then came back with my bowl and preceded to tell me that since I didn’t request to have my food brought out in order that she waited to bring it out together. I said, if that was even true then why did you bring out the dessert first and looked confused when so said I didn’t have my food yet. She then said well here it is now. I said a simple apology for the mistake is all that was needed. She said but I didn’t make a mistake. I asked her to leave me to my food after that. I then asked the other employee for to go boxes as I did not want to eat there. That is also a reminder to not leave a tip till after you eat and get served. Before leaving another employee walked by and I asked if I could leave a complaint. She said I could tell her since she was the mgr. I explained what happened and she agreed that a premade pasta should have come out right away while the warmed up bread pudding would take about 15 min. She also gave an excuse for the cashier’s behavior that she might not have been unaware of how she said things. That may be true but she lied and tried to blame it on me. I think it is a fairly consistent standard in the industry that you don’t bring out the dessert while one waits for their food unless specifically requested. Especially if the food is already made while the dessert takes 15 min to warm. The mgr did not give an apology just said she would speak to the employee. Making it right would have asked the employee to apologize and the mgr would at least have apologized for her. The mgr should also have tefunded at least part of my meal. $37 for a snack of a meal was over the top but to get such crappy service pushed it way over!

The cafe is super cute and they had good coffee but we tried a slice of the lemon cake and it was just not great. The cake was dry and didn’t really have a lemon flavor to it. The frosting was very thick.
