We called ahead to make sure they dids GF because of our 2 youngest daughters restrictions. They ensured us they did but fell short. They were very accommodating. They lacked the basic understanding of cross contamination. The sandwiches we got with gluten were amazing. And service did all they could. A great restaurant if you don't have diatery restrictions.
Dietary restrictions: Tried to be on top of it but did not know about cross contamination with spreads and condiments. Therefore no GF sandwiches could be made besides the kids grilled cheese, that they could not make properly because of a shared oven. Stay away if GF.

Got the avocado quinoa superfood salad without the cheese. They were a little stingy with the avocado at this location and forgot the dressing…so giving 3 stars for that. But otherwise good was good and service was pretty quick. A solid option in Folsom.

I love going to Mendocino. I was so excited to see they had a location in Folsom. Great service and great food. Quality sandwiches, can’t beat it. Chicken Pesto Capresse and Pork belly Bahn Mi and are my go-to items.

Nice variety on the menu with vegan options. Wine and beer on tap, but the beer glasses are not chilled. Snobby? Maybe but it would be a nice touch. Food is fresh, but it seems that the take out orders get priority over dine-in orders. Overall a nice dining experience, will definitely go back
Parking: Parking lot us very busy on Friday nights, especially with Mikuni and the new restaurant that just opened. Oh, and be prepared to fight your way out getting past the In and Out traffic. Sometimes insanity.

Today, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The Happy Hippie and the Peruvian sandwiches were super delicious. Happy Hippie: what I loved most is that it was generously loaded with fillings. It was a sandwich that honestly offered all the ingredients listed in the description. I just wish they would delete the word “caviar” to describe the beet spread as it can easily gross out a vegetarian. My husband had Chardonnay (okay) and the Peruvian steak sandwich which he said was delicious, but he would’ve preferred it to be less oily. The curried couscous and potato salad sides were tasty. We WILL RETURN to try more items on the menu and will also encourage our friends to come here. Most IMPORTANTLY: Jax, who took our order, cheerfully greeted us; she patiently responded to my questions and attentively took our order. All the crew members seemed happy; they were attentive and gracious in their interactions. Elise, the manager, was also very respectful and affably interacted with all customers and courteously accommodated a customer who seemed to be making an unreasonable demand/request. Finally, we did not have to wait much for our food to be served. There is plenty of parking space here.

We love to order from Mendocino Farms any chance we get. The food is always fresh and delicious. Outstanding salads, great sandwiches and I love the Summer Corn Chowder! I love that we can stop here after the movies, on the way to Tahoe or just because. One of our favorites of all time!
