They did an awesome job at making things right! I ordered 3 dozen for my baby shower, my husband brought home only one dozen. They went above and beyond by delivering the other 2 dozen (to Placerville!) and threw in an extra dozen!! What could have been a disaster turned out to be the icing on the cake of a very special day.

I placed a large order for the wrong day on accident and got there right as they were closing. The associate saved the day by filling my order the day before I had mistakenly ordered it for! I was so grateful because they were technically closed, she could have ignored me! They are great!

My kiddo & I visited here for a bundtlets. The girl who served us was patient with my kiddo who kept changing flavors. We finally decided for a carrot cake bundtlet. I feel like the cake looked smaller than I had before (about 7 years ago). However, the cake itself was good. It was moist and tasted delicious. The frosting was very sweet (as I remembered from the past) but it was creamy.

Retail Therapy Session

The customer service at this location is beyond horrible! Sydney is the worst! It would be one thing if it was an isolated incident but the last 3 times my Daughter and I went in there, she was HORRIBLE! She doesn't address you at all and will literally stand at the register looking at you until you say something. It's as if she is almost comatose. This time someone by the name of Lisa got our cakes and Sydney bagged them and rang me up. She barely squeaked out my total and gave me my bag with the least amount of enthusiasm possible for a human! My Daughter then ordered hers and made the mistake of asking Sydney if the lemon raspberry was good and she got the coldest and most lackluster "yes" as possible! The closest thing that I can compare her to so you fully understand what I'm talking about is a sloth. But a rude one! Not at all like the cute friendly ones you see hanging on a tree! Unfortunately I have no choice but to come to this location. But dealing with Sydney might just be the reason I give up bundt cakes!

I came in 3/25 at 11:19 am to pick up a preordered birthday cake for my daughter. The cashier was rude and unprofessional. She told me three times she did not have a order under my name or phone number and asked if I was at the right location. I quickly walked back to my car to get my phone so I could show her my confirmation email. When I walked back in she was already helping another black customer who walked in as I walked out. He let her know she could finish helping me and he would wait. She rudely said to this man “no I want to get you started” and looked at me and pointed to another register and said she can help you over there with a rude tone.I let the other associate know I am here to pick up an online order. She found it immediately and said to the other associate “it was the very first order on the list.”The rude associate was dismissive and said “I’m old” and laughed. While I waited for the woman to bring the cake out, I could hear the same gentleman asking the woman questions about cake flavors and if they sold birthday candles. You could tell this was his first time in the store. She was short and rude to him for simply asking questions. This was an older man probably in his 60’s trying to make a purchase in a store he has never been in and she was just rude.When the associate brought out our cake I immediately noticed the icing on one side was smooshed. I know it’s a cake and will be eaten, but for the event and price it should be flawless upon pick up. She immediately apologized and said she would go fix it. While waiting for what felt like 15 mins for her to fix the cake.The associate who was rude to me and another gentleman all of a sudden became so friendly to customers with her complexion. They were greeted when they walked in, she had no problem answering the same question the other gentleman asked. I was shocked. I have lived in this neighborhood for years and bring my children in often for end of the week treats, I purchased my sons birthday cake from this location a few months ago, pick up treats for my hair stylist, family & friends to be treated like this. Shame on her! All customers should be treated the same! The only reason I did not immediately request a refund due to poor customer service and quality is because that day was my daughter’s birthday and it was too late to go elsewhere and purchase a cake. I also purchased a #6 sparkler and had to remind the associate she did not give it to us when she handed me the cake. I was so frustrated and ready to go.Once we got home and prepared the table for my daughter’s party I noticed the cake she “fixed” was even worse than before. The icing overlapped and looked rushed. There were huge spaces with no icing at all. I attached a picture of my son’s cake from December(the green cake) and my daughter’s cake is the pink one we picked up on Monday. It was hideous and I couldn’t even hide it in our family pictures and videos. Just based on my experience with the associate and quality of the cake I will no longer purchase from this location.

Took wife to dinner at a restaurant down the street from this cake shop. My wife wanted to pickup a cake on the way home from dinner and we arrived at Nothing Bundt Cake shop a 6:05 pm and they were all ready closed. We felt it closed very early in the day. If you want to get a cake arrive before you leave dinner.JeffThe manager replied to my review and that shows that the care I have changed my review because of that response.Jeff

ALLERGY WARNINGMy husband has a severe peanut allergy. I ordered a 24 bundtini box for a birthday party. I specifically did NOT order the peanut butter chocolateflavor because of my husband’s allergy. The label showed the right flavors but when we opened the box at the party we realized that instead of the raspberry they gave us the peanut butter chocolate!! If we had not been careful and checked all the flavors it could have easily been mistaken for chocolate and it would have ended badly. Normally I would not leave a review for a simple mistake like this but this location really needs to be careful when handling food with allergens!! I really hope this is a learning experience and the store sees this review.
