Excellent food and service. While visiting Folsom I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a rice teriyaki dish with tofu and vegetables. It was excellent!! Real tofu not the spongy kind. The portion was a good size. It was so tasty and light. Not full of oil. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and had lots of pride on his excellent dish. I ordered a to go chicken noodle dish for my son. He also raved about how good it was. My new favorite place to go to.

I’m sad because the reviews are great and the chicken teriyaki in Folsom is trash but I’ve been here 3 days in a row now- 2 days they were sold out of white meat chicken and the other day they were randomly closed lol. I give up.

I’ve been coming here since I was like 5 and I can still say that this is one of the best places in folsom to eat hands down! Not only is the food the best but so is the service every single time I come in they recognize me and it warms my heart! I cannot recommend this place
I've been to quite a few small Teriyaki places across various states and overall I would give this a 2.5/5.Ordered the teriyaki chicken and unfortunately it was very bland. The chicken was cooked fine, but had little flavor. The Teriyaki sauce itself was also very watery and had almost no teriyaki flavor to it. Can't say I'd recommend it especially if that teriyaki sauce is being put on most everything.
The guy that works here is always so amazing. His food is delicious every time and he will remember you after only a few visits. Be careful if you're a regular! If you don't go in for a while he will question you as to why ?

The restaurant is small but has some tables inside. The menu was simple: choose your protein and choose between plate/bowl/noodle. We ordered and paid at the cashier and the same guy cooked our food.- Chicken plate: chicken was tender & cooked perfectly but it was bland. The teriyaki sauce slathered on top was the flavoring for the protein. The portion was good regarding the price. The salad tasted fresh but the dressing was too much.- Beef bowl: the thinly sliced beef had a nice char but again, the meat was kinda bland. It seems like they put the teriyaki sauce to flavor the meat. They gave quite a big portion of rice underneath.The price was affordable for the portion. The meat was well cooked but it was bland. For me, it was 3.5 stars
