So sad to see this place closed, even more sad to hear that the owner passed, my prayer go to the family. I just wanted to say my family has been enjoying food from this family restaurant back when it was Bella Italian at the old location in Fontana. This family and the establishment is a true gem to the inland empire and the definition of a true Italian restaurant, family ran and when your family walks through the door you become a extended part of there family. Will truly miss this unique place hope in the future the will re-open as there will never be another like it.

I have gone to Bella Italian and Bonos for years now. Truly authentic and delicious Italian food. It was sad to see it closed now. I saw from a prior review here that its because the owner Mr. Bono has passed away. This breaks my heart. To my regrets: An Icon of Route 66 and a Historical landmark,this business has unfortunately closed after a unsuccessful attempt to re-open the past. Who knows what will happen to it ,I supposed it to be torn down and replaced by an ever increasing number of cement warehouses etc. The city is more into changing the tax revenue than preserve any or all historical landmarks. My spouse and I loved the other location named Bellas and were sad that it had closed! We were happy to learn that we were again getting a chance to enjoy the great food and service the family run restaurant provides. We recently brought our son here for dinner and just as before we were very happy with the food and service. We are definitely coming back again soon!

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. Very comfortable , cute setting , they offer indoor dining . Cheese bread is delicious . Good hospitality.

It must've been a bad day, because they had a large catering job and were out of sorts. I ordered to go. The calamari was light and crispy, but didn't come with any sauce and I had one large clump of pieces. The seafood pasta with oil and garlic (although I ordered marinara) was very fishy and the fettuccine wasn't al dente, and not proportionate to the seafood. I don't think I'd ordered this again. However, the restaurant was cool and interesting, decorated with historical items, like a mini museum. I think they just had an off day and I would give them another chance.

The atmosphere is amazing and the service was perfect !! The owner really does it all and along with the waitress they make a great team !! Def worth the price and the drive !! That's going to be our new go to italian dining place !! You won't be disappointed !! All the antiques alone made it all worth while just for starters and walking in to see the treasures all around was magical !!

Other than the food people told me some erry things about they're employees, no judgment went in anyways but I used my card here n only here that whole week. Tell me why my card was charged like 7 more times at numerous other places! WTF YALL DOING FEEDING A WHOLE MAFIA OR SOMETHING!????? not pointing fingers but CMONNNNN This is not to slander the reputation of this Italian restaurant either bc like I said before the food was good. First of all.....the food is AMAZING. If you don't appreciate the food you are probably uncultured and you should stick to Olive garden. Second, the people here are soooooo nice, they make you feel like part of the family. If you are looking for some good food and some good people, and looking for a good time, this is the place for you ?

I haven't even tried this place and I am already upset. I put an order online from this restaurant and it tells me it wasn't able to receive my order. They still charged me for it, however it says I will be receiving my refund for the order. I'm more disappointed that it's closed the day I ordered it even though on Yelp it says it's open.
