So sad to see this place closed, even more sad to hear that the owner passed, my prayer go to the family. I just wanted to say my family has been enjoying food from this family restaurant back when it was Bella Italian at the old location in Fontana. This family and the establishment is a true gem to the inland empire and the definition of a true Italian restaurant, family ran and when your family walks through the door you become a extended part of there family. I have gone to Bella Italian and Bonos for years now. Truly authentic and delicious Italian food. It was sad to see it closed now. I saw from a prior review here that its because the owner Mr. Bono has passed away. This breaks my heart. I hope the family will eventually re open the restaurant- my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To my regrets: An Icon of Route 66 and a Historical landmark,this business has unfortunately closed after a unsuccessful attempt to re-open the past. Who knows what will happen to it ,I supposed it to be torn down and replaced by an ever increasing number of cement warehouses etc. The city is more into changing the tax revenue than preserve any or all historical landmarks. So Goodbye. Another one goes down as Fontana buries part of its history , agan...
