Awesome food ,I must say some inconsistentcy as far as what you get even a week apart from visits. The food is always great but they seem to change it up as they see fit with some things. Ordered an ortega chili pattymelt sandwich 1st week it had steak ,cheese and lots of peppers !!! So good. A week later ordered the exact same meal payed the exact same price. Got home took my first bite and it was a ground beef burger with very little peppers and cheese. It was ok. The week before was fantastic though. I will still continue to go back , I will just check my orders before I head home.

They have great lunch specials with soup or salads.

🏆 One of my favorite spots! My family LOVES this place. I’ve been coming here since I was little. Everything…. Literally everything is delicious and the nostalgia of this place is 💯 on point. They’ve kept it the same but it’s clean. Growing up we always went for the steak and shrimp special 2 for 1. They still offer great food at reasonable prices making it affordable the whole family to enjoy a meal out together without breaking the bank!

When I was younger, like middle school, my dad took us to Sundowners in Buena Park. Now, some 48 years later, my sister and I went to this Sundowners. Food was great, prices were really great (steak and country fried steak dinners with salad and drink for under $30!), and the workers were friendly. I'll be going back for more, even if they are 45 miles from where I live.

I love this place and they have great customer service. Today for Mother’s Day they gave a 20% discount and a carnation flower to mothers. They have amazing prices and food. The clam chowder soup is the best around. I have been coming here for years and they still have many of the same staff who are extremely nice.

Been coming here for over 32 years. Prices now are much higher but that is the times. Food good. Same manager for many years he is great. Teresa working there for many years. Friendly and efficient. And some new items that are nice too. Freshly brewed iced tea the best
