About Bazaar Sonoma (BaSo/巴索/バソ)

Based on the reviews, Bazaar Sonoma is a charming and unpretentious restaurant with welcoming, friendly staff and chefs who are genuinely kind, real, and generous. The food is delicious, bold but balanced, and presented beautifully. The outdoor seating is mellow and informal, though there can be traffic noise on the patio. Inside, there is a food counter where guests can watch the team create. Specific dishes mentioned include the Wonton soup, smashed cucumbers, homemade chili crunch, Zhong Dumplings in a spicy, comforting sauce, Chicken Congee, and Hong Kong Clay Pot Rice with pork and egg. The handmade dumpling wrappers have a notable mouth feel. Some reviews note the food can be very oily and use a bit too much cornstarch, leaving a slight metallic taste. Despite these points, the restaurant is considered a fantastic place to eat and a perfect restaurant experience.

Yes the food is beyond amazing, presented beautifully, and the ingredients of dish are explained. You can dine in their sweet terrace, or inside at the bar and watch them create. BUT what puts this into the 10-star category is how genuinely friendly, real, generous, kind, fun and alive the staff and chefs are.
Enjoyed a beautiful lunch on the patio. Everything was amazing. Dishes seemed familiar but were done with such grace, perfect spice profile and a full spectrum of textures. Super good.
Excellent. High quality ingredients and staff, we highly recommend
