“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.“

I just want to say in accordance with some of the lower reviews that, this place is run by one woman (with a addition of a new hire) all by herself and that it may seem “unclean” or “greasy” but I think people are just germaphobes. Some portions of the food do seem to be cooked from frozen but it was all very fast and one of the only places open on thanksgiving. So it’s up to your own judgement. 🤷🏻♀️ Also, if you don’t know the difference between spring rolls and crispy spring rolls that your problem.“

“KUDOS to the staff of La Playa!!! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff so very friendly. We had a large group of 40 with most being youth. The staff were so patient with our group and bottom line were just amazing. I have experienced our group with larger restaurants and La Playa blew them out of the water - the food and service top notch! When my family come to the area La Playa will be a stop for sure, and should we bring our youth group back this will for sure be on the agenda! Thank you all, from Ernesto to the wait staff to the cooks! THANK YOU ALL!“

“My favorite place to eat! Incredible sushi, fresh! Some are in house only you won't find anywhere else. The owner was a fish buyer and knows his business from that angle first. The service is top notch. I eat there every time I go to town. You will not be disappointed.“

“We had such a great first-time experience dining here, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Heather. She was incredibly attentive and so warm and accommodating from the moment we sat down. That kind of welcome really made us feel at home and set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food and ambiance were already a win, but Heather truly made it memorable. We’re definitely coming back! Next time, we’re planning to make a reservation in hopes of getting a table with that beautiful ocean view. Can’t wait! 🌊✨“

“Marc A. Tager and I had a absolutely divine lunch at our local Asian Fusion. If you love curry, soup, and are in need of some spices in your life go order you some GREEN CURRY!! “We had lunch and ordered the combination sushi and combination sashimi. Our service was wonderful. The miso soup was delicious, just like my mom used to make. The sashimi and sushi were very fresh and beautifully presented. I loved that that there was good variety of fish. We will definitely come back.“
