Probably the best staffed place in the Fort Irwin PX, they always make my sandwiches to my preferences. They'll add a Drizzle of Terryaki Sauce to my Chicken Terryaki ect. They work fast enough too that the line isn't too bad either.
One of the workers gave my friend the wrong sandwich and wouldn't correct his order. She kept making excuses.Him: There was cheese and jalapeno: Sorry that came off of the cutting tool I used. (There was cheese and jalapeno spread throughout the sandwich)Him: There was no bacon:No, there's bacon on it .. I handed you the right sandwich. (There was no bacon)We went back to the Line twice.. still no correction.
Being from Philly I like to see what people claim to be a Philly cheesesteak. The food was good but for the experienced cheesesteak connoisseur it left much to be desired as it was steakem style meat that was grilled. I prefer the diced up steak with cheese melted throughout with grilled onions. It was a filling meal, but not worthy of being a Philly steak. Staff was friendly and kept the line moving, so it didn't take long during the lunch time rush.
