My rating is based on the magical quality, flavor, texture, and value of Humboldt Creamery's organic ice cream. The past couple years Trader Joe's stores in the Bay Area have carried some of their ice cream products as limited buys. In 2016 they carried the one quart containers at a super low price ($3.99). In 2017 TJ's carried 1 HC's pint containers for only $1.99 in vanilla, chocolate, mint chip, and coffee. These prices were much more affordable than any other organic ice cream...read full review
I once worked for a company who did some work at the Humboldt Creamery back in the 90's. The people who worked there for the company were very friendly, as I made many friends and have missed them all these years. Have hoped to someday take a trip back out to see them again, to visit with them and see if they have changed much. It is beautiful country out there, as I miss the country as well as the people.

I came to live in Humboldt County, and I am a dairy girl. Happy cows live here. This Creamery is the real deal, the original farm country, acres of cows, bounding deer and bunnies, the the utopia and oasis that people in the city do not understand. Don't spoil it, enjoy the milk and food. Please leave mean and nasty comments off of here. Oh, that half and half probably had a transport driver that did not get it into the dairy box soon enough.
