First of all we got there 5 minutes before they closed and they still let me and my husband and 2 of our kids stay. I had the burger and homemade onion rings they were so good. One of the best burgers I've had in a while and, my husband had linguica with eggs, potatoes and gluten free toast, he really enjoyed his too. My boys had French toast breakfast and my 8 year old son had chicken sandwich with veggie soup, he loved his sandwich, he said I give them 5 stars! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, cloth napkins, breakfast served all day! Would definitely come back when in the area!

Pretty awesome spot, finally had time to pop in for brunch, on our way to Ferndale. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! I got the veggie eggs benni with a side of extra crispy bacon and my hubs got the biscuits and gravy, very good. We will definitely be back!

blink and you'll miss this gem if you're heading to Ferndale. just across from Fernbridge, this place uses many local, organic, and regenerative ingredients and the cookery matches the quality of ingredients. given that, prices are comparable to other breakfast joints using cheap conventional ingredients.small staff, often only one server, but just relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

Great salads, soup, and breakfast just doesn't do this place justice. There's so much heart here. From the unique authentic country atmosphere, fresh ingredients and friendly service. Best kept secret around and a favorite local spot

We eat here weekly on Sunday mornings. I can't say enough about the food, atmosphere and care taken by staff to ensure we always have a positive experience. This is a small, family business and some Sundays are busier than others, but Kim always finds you a seat and ensures you'll have a great meal. Food is awesome: breakfast menu is full of great choices-they even serve Portuguese linguica. Don't miss out on the soup-it changes weekly but is alway terrific-even at breakfast. I also love the waffles & biscuits & gravy are delicious and made with local ground beef. Most options feature local, fresh products. Mimosas are the perfect compliment to Sunday brunch. Love this place, it's an local hidden gem.

Ordered waffles, they were burnt to the point of almost being inedible another had traditional eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was a mustard flavor???? Other person's meal was fine. Both lattes were nasty. Used to go here a lot, but has steadily become a disappointment.

Cute place , really slow service and portions have become a lot smaller and not as tasty. Asked for a to go box and waited 15 minutes finally had to ask again . Cost was not worth it the quality or quantity.

There were two women (maybe a waiter and manager/owner) running the place on a quiet Sunday afternoon. They were sweet and consistent the whole time. No weird vibes whatsoever. The place reminds you of a more authentic Cracker Barrel. Seat-yourself - the table sets are cool but need some polishing. Lots of flies. But don’t under estimate the food: great taste and presentation. Even prices. Would like to see more fairly priced gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free available $$$

Old style diner with old style menu offerings. Service car was good with friendly, chatty waitresses. Our breakfast was cooked nicely but took longer then expected given were only 2 other tables in the place. My husband enjoyed his ham and eggs with country potatoes. The eggs Benedict was cooked well with the eggs nice and soft. But for me, there was a bit too much dried mustard in the sauce. All in all, a good country restaurant with consistently good food.

This quaint cafe has all the comfort of small-town environment decor and feels with big portions of flavorful home-cooked foods...the latter helping to make you feel as if you're getting your money's worth with today's exorbitant costs (this is intended to be a pro for the restaurant, not to imply their pricing is exorbitant - I'm only referring to the cost of things in general these days). Their coffee selection sets them apart from most cafes - they also offer a selection of espressos, lattes & teas. As a chai tea latte snob, I can vouch for theirs - spice in the right places, not watered down, and filled to the brim. I got the Ground Beef Hash and it was most filling and delicious. Not a fan of feta cheese, I'm a little shy of fancy sounding cheese or gouda so the Rumiano Smoked Gouda had me concerned; however, I was delightfully surprised and can now sound like I know my fancy cheese "real gouda" when I ask for it instead of feta. (Yes, intentionally cheesy.) We were there around lunch on a Friday and were only one of a few customers at the time. Though parking is right in front, it is limited so if more than a few tables are filled you may have to park down the street a ways.
