This is where you go when you are craving for great Vietnamese food! Used to bring my friends who are visiting SoCal here. Now that I no longer reside here, I come whenever I have a chance to visit SoCal. Because of the volume of customers, sometimes you do not get very good service although some of their servers do their best to attend to everyone. The wait is usually long but it is worth it. My favorites here are the Ban Bo Hue, BBQ pork spring rolls, the Brodard Broken Rice and their coconut jelly and taro desserts.

Good overall dining experience at Brodard Vietnamese Cuisine.

We ordered Nam Vang soup, garlic noodles (seafood & shaken beef), egg rolls, fresh shrimp rolls, and steamed vegetables. The food was fresh and served hot. The garlic noodles were flavorful and filling, and the Nam Vang soup was light and comforting with a good amount of seafood and vegetables.

Portions were generous and great for sharing. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and portions make it worth it. Would come back again.

The pork spring rolls here are excellent.

The bun bo hue had a lot of variety in ingredients.

The service was eager to please. An Tran was a very hard worker and very approachable.

My only concern is that the men's bathrooms didn't feel very clean. There was a puddle in it... And I almost slipped in the bathroom.

Recommended dishes: Grilled Pork Spring Rolls Nem Nuong Cuon

Foods here are delicious. Service was bad. Waiter was slow and not attentive to our needs. We asked several times for foods ordered. Dishes that I liked were spring rolls, vermicelli with crabs meat and Goi lotus.

Got in quickly without having to join the Yelp wait-list. Food was underwhelming compared to previous visits. Sad to say the ném nướng cuốn was bland and tasteless. Other dishes were great as usual. Maybe an off day. :/

Nem cuốn is their best specialty, we came back for this particular dish. Other dishes are mid.

Brodard, you guys seriously need to work on your online ordering pick-up times better. Tell me why I had to wait 40 minutes for my order when I placed my order at 8am for pickup time at 4:30pm? I didn’t receive my party tray of 20 rolls until almost 5:15pm!! Meanwhile, people who came in after me and placed an order for their party trays received their orders before me???

I knew you guys were hella busy which was why I ordered online early to avoid having to wait but ended up having to wait anyways. I might have just did a walk in order then.

Disappointed by this wait time. I love their nem nuong rolls but ughhhh. Do better on this wait time. Do not promise a pick up time if it’s not gonna be ready when people arrive to pick it up.

We came for lunch around noon... what a busy place. And I can understand why. Great menu options, flavorful rolls and good service.

We were a party of 4. We ordered a few rolls so we can their variety of options
Vegetarian Roll was my least favorite. Kinda on the bland side even with sauce.
Eggplant Tempura Roll-tasty would get again
Duck Roll- was my favorite!
Coconut Shrimp Roll- if you like coconut get it... because that's all you taste.

Lotus salad- yum! Love the crunch and the little bit of heat you get.
Jackfruit salad- sweet and flavorful. I couldn't decide which salad was better.

Food portions are generous and easily sharable too! I would definitely return!

It's a good casual Vietnamese restaurant, maybe slightly on the upper side of prices given the setup and the atmosphere, but the food is good.

I was craving for the pork spring roll. The last time I had it was many years ago. From what I remembered it was warm and fresh. The sauce had flavors.

I came there last night greeted by “ How many People “ not a single smile or “Hi or welcome” ha. My first order was the Pork Spring Roll. I was so excited ! My excitement went away after the first few bites. The sauce had no flavor, the wrap was cold bland and hard, Not what I remembered.

We also ordered the Pork Chop rice dish without the other shredded pork skin meat. It came out one small piece of porkchop. Flavor was there but was very very cheap for the price.

I saved the best for last. NEVER EVER order Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup). They messed up my order 3X!! Small kids size bowl where they stuffed everything in that small bowl but the flavors. It was cheap and doesnt taste like Bun Bo Hue.

The food was very toned done and Americanized. Was soooo disappointed!! The fact that they messed up my orders 3x with my soup and I end up not eating it they didn’t bother to comp that order. Customer service sucks!

Would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic hearty meal.

I have never had anything here but the spring rolls but I am telling you that is all you need to come for. Crazy stupid incomprehensibly good. The rolls. The SAUCE. I get these every time I am in town for work, and again on my way back from the stand at John Wayne Airport (gotta bring some back for the husband).

Incomparable. Famous for good reason.

It's very popular and I'm not sure it's worth the lines but it's decent Vietnamese food see your host to be your table's ready I'm going to go tell him I got to text
