My wife and I arrived and weren’t even greeted by the employee Blake. Soft spoken young kid that was more interested in playing with his hair than being at work. With a soft spoken voice he asked if we had been there before. My wife answered yes and I told him it was my first time. After that, silence. Didn’t bother to explain the menu or any recommendations he might have.My wife began to order and with just the way he was looked like he hated his job. I was even getting very impatient with his demeanor and almost walked out. Only reason I didnt was because my wife had been wanting to eat at this place for a while now. Once she finished ordering, I asked him to give me the same order as her and no reply back from him. Again just playing with his hair over and over. Once I paid, he literally walked out and left. I then stepped outside with my son and my wife stayed to receive the order. When she came out, she said the other worker that was working there gave her the food and was really nice. Which is the only reason I am giving the 2nd star. Otherwise I would have done 1. This kid needs to get fired or work in a hair salon. Very unpleasant experience. I honestly dont even want to go back to this location. Id rather drive farther for better customer service. My wife said the Brea location is better. If the manager is reading this, please do yourself a favor and get rid of this kid before he runs off more customers.

I was really excited when I found this place on yelp. Due to emergency medical reasons my wife is on very strict dietary restrictions for the moment so it's been a challenge finding places to eat. Chop Stop had some great choices that fit the criteria per their online nutrition guides.I arrived to pick up lunch today and the restaurant was very clean and employees friendly. I ordered a cobb for my wife and a "chop stop classic" for myself. I should have inspected our salads before leaving but I just grabbed them and left.I get home and notice the avocado on my wife's cobb is rotten. I buy fresh avocado for home all the time so I just assumed it was oxidized from the pit but there was a silver dollar sized black spot that went through to the other side. It was visible through the lid so it was pathetic the employees would think this is ok to serve to a customer and I felt bad for not noticing it when I picked up my order. For the price of these salads there's no excuse for them to serve ingredients past their prime. I'm guessing this was a left over from the previous day and they didn't want to toss it. When my wife started eating her salad she kept spitting her food into a napkin. She said the chicken tasted rancid and full of gristle. Three hours later my wife is in the bathroom and really sick saying "never get food from there again".My salad looked good but sadly was bland and boring. Even though I didn't have any gristly chicken something tasted very off and even my guts are making odd noises right now so I think I'll take some preventive pepto. It's a real shame because the portions are good and the calories low. It would have been a great place to get takeout from.I just sent an email to their corporate company about the quality control at this franchise so hopefully somebody responds. I will not return regardless. The owner replied to other bad reviews about how many hours they spend chopping fresh ingredients every day so really not sure why they would serve this.***two weeks later and nobody responded to my email about being served rotten food. Avoid this place.***

Build your own salads and bowls with fresh ingredients. I love that you can get healthy food quick here. The chopanini is really good, and the grilled spinach wrap makes it taste even better. You’re able to customize them too, which is helpful as there’s not a vegetarian option. There is indoor seating available too. The employees are friendly.

Honestly tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago since UberEats showed a promotion, the smallest salad bowl was about $8, ordered it and it was great. Today, I ordered again, no promotion this time so it was $12. Would not mind the price at all if the bowl itself was consistent. Ordered the same toppings but received significantly more when the bowl was cheaper....not sure how that worked out but does concern me and steer me from wanting to order again if I have to chance whether or not I'm receiving a full bowl. I paid extra for chicken both times and this time received way less chicken than before. The ingredients are fresh and everything tastes good, but I probably won't be frequenting as much if it's inconsistency in the quantity-- so 3 stars.
