Average ramen. Terrible experience on a weekdays dinner. Arrived at 7pm. Waited 15' for table. Immediately ordered Spicy Miso Ramen, Creamy Mazemen and regular Miso Ramen. Food came out at 7:55pm after 40' wait.
Mazemen was okay. Spicy Miso Ramen tasted bland. Kitchen didn't include meat in one of the Ramen. Server had to bring out the meat separately.
Don't waste your time here.
The food was well made. The noodles are soft and springy, the broth in the tonkatsu ramen had a nice flavor that went well with everything in it. Their fried chicken is a very good portion, super juicy, with a nice crisp to it.
The one problem I had was when I went to pay there a little notification symbol was mysteriously put over the lowest tip option. I'm all for tipping food service workers but when they try to force a higher tip option it is very frustrating. I've paid on those little tablets plenty of times and never had that issue. I even waited a few days to review to make sure I wasn't being unreasonable with the rating because the waiter that day made it a really bad experience.

Love how fresh the food is, how friendly and competent the staff is, the friendly greeting when I walk in the door. One of my favorite restaurants in Fountain Valley.

Staff is friendly, menu have lots of pictures to better illustrate the various ramen, toppings and food options. The menu is in English on the table so there’s no need to wait for the menu. Upon sitting down the staff will bring ice water with straw. You can customized if you know what you like such as less oily, less salty, softer or firmer noodles etc. The noodles is chewy and wavy, sort of remind me of Udon but not as thick. We love the seasoned egg, it looks like a regular boiled egg but taste great! We always get a season egg for every order in our group. If you are a big eater definitely consider the Jiro Style Deluxe Ramen, that will definitely hit the spot if you are super hungry. There are also some cute trickers and display ornaments in the shop used for decoration. For picky little eaters there also option such as chicken karaage, French fries, etc.

Food was delicious as always. This is my go to favorite ramen place for their gluten free noodles alone. My order was ready about ten minutes later than expected but that’s understandable on a busy rainy Friday night. Overall would definitely recommend

Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is great! Their spicy ramen was excellent—rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. It’s the kind of bowl that feels especially ideal if you’re a little under the weather. The noodles are wonderfully springy, the broth is full of depth, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you’re craving truly great ramen, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back
