Unfortunate to see this place close down by this Wednesday 10/29. Had some decent memories many years ago with many family outings here but today would be bittersweet. Came to visit and grab something to bite with family but was quickly turned away for being closed by the waitress. I guess they are in a hurry to end the place even though there are people sitting and eating and people ordering takeouts. Wish they have a better fortune and hope the new owners convert this to something more vibrant to bring back the hey days.

Food - 3/10 Service 3/10 Dishes we had. Sweet sour pork- pork had an odd taste Walnut shrimp- shrimp was over cooked and dry Chow mien- taste like just soy sauce and noodles. I could of made this at home.

Westlake beef soup! But so sad this place is closing soon. Wish they could stay open. I'll have to find another place to get my fix

I went here at 5:30 PM today to order a take-out meal. The restaurant wasn't crowded. This was my first time going to this restaurant. There was no one at the front desk when I walked in. Then a distracted, unfriendly guy ask me how he could help me. I told him I'd like to order take-out. He didn't even ask what I wanted to order before quickly telling me it would be a 30 minute wait. At that moment, I no longer wanted to purchase a meal from this restaurant. I will not try this restaurant again.

Sadly, it seems they will be closing by the end of 2019. Their excellent food, service and shrimp w/ walnuts dish will be remembered fondly. Thanks for the wonderful meals!

Oh no! Just found out that they will be closing end of October. My family and I have been coming here for years, and it was always one of our faves- good food, good service, good atmosphere, good people. You guys will definitely be missed.

The worst service I have had in years, food came before drinks after 20 minutes, waiter never asked if we needed anything, searched for soy sauce and retrieved it from other tables, was given one napkin and had to get up to get more, had to get up and ask for straw.... the family tries to run the restaurant with two waiters and it doesn't work. Food was good but will not go back due to awful service.

My friends and I come here for lunch a lot because it's way cheaper than the dinner menu. They've always been really nice to us. You have to be just a little patient, though. It's smart to order family style, because you then get to try more things. We like to order the sweet and sour chicken, coconut shrimp, and the curry chicken. All lunches are served with tea and a bowl of soup.

Best Chinese food in my area. Shrimp dishes are wonderful, don't forget the onion pancakes a real treat. Great ND friendly service.

We have been coming here for twenty years. Best chinese in orange county. The food still does not disappoint. Loved everything we ordered. My dad loved this place and my six kids always loved coming here every Sunday. There are so many great memories that were made here. One of the owners Steve has watched the family grow up. Nostalgia for is...love this place...

We always order the same dishes when we visit. Whenever we venture out of those same dishes (intestine hot pot, beef and tendon, salt and pepper pork chops, sour stem shredded pork, fish filet with scallion - make sure you allow it to soak in the sauce and flip multiple times in the sauce before eating, hot and sour soup - too often a hit or miss so we skip that now, mapo tofu), we were rarely disappointed. I think you're certainly safe to try your favorite go-to Chinese dishes then try other dishes should you decide to return.

One of the most consistent restaurants with good quality of dishes in Southern California.
