I recently visited Shabuya, an all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant, and while the food was really good, the service left a bit to be desired. The hostess was a bit rude and not very welcoming, which set a less-than-ideal tone at the start. However, the servers were fairly friendly overall. One girl who brought out some of our meat seemed uninterested, simply dropping the plates on the table without saying a word, which gave off a negative vibe.

Totally worth the 45 minute drive from the South Bay, this Fountain Valley (FV) location is nearly identical to the one in Las Vegas with one important difference: they don't offer sushi. Vegas serves up the most amazing variety that rivals dedicated sushi restaurants...but Shabuya FV is still GREAT with the most helpful + friendly staff you can find anywhere. Keep up the hard work, the fair pricing, and your excellent employees, Shabuya FV...but adding sushi to your offerings...

The food here is fantastic! It is one of my boyfriend's favorite types of food, and we both leave here with a nice full tummy ready for a nap. The waiters and other employees work together to keep tables clear and bring the food promptly. Definitely walk with pep and urgency in their steps anytime I'm here. Never tipped less than 15% here. Highly recommend
