Shin-Sen-Gumi Robata & Yakitori - Fountain Valley

Ramen very mediocre, accompanied by exactly 4 thin slices of unmarinated pork. Portions are ridiculously small. We ordered a side dish of mini sausages which came out still cold in the middle and are so tiny it's not even funny. For the price, food there is very expensive !?! Just go across the street and eat more substantially at the same price.

We went on a weekend, no reservations. Delicious food! The service is top notch, ambience is authentic Japanese, tables could be bit bigger to accommodate all the food ordered. Delivery is super quick as well. Could not have asked for a better experience!

The dandanmen lives rent free in my head. I've tried other places but nothing scratches that itch. It's maddening, it calls to me in my dreams.

Love this place so much. Great food amd servers. They can get very busy and at times service may be a little delayed. Otherwise the food is such pleasant experience and the atmosphere is loud and small, but I love it. It feels great to sit with a bowl of hot ramen and connect with friends and family. They have a variety of add-ons and ways to customize it that I think everyone will be happy.

Came back for more of grilled snacks. Still a great place, great vibe (old decor but somehow works), great & friendly service by the staff there. Small bite size but enough to taste the delish & tasty foods, perfectly for you to taste others, especially you have 1 or 2 with you. Pricey? Sure but worth it. Plenty of parking spots since it’s in a huge shopping complex. Weekend after 6pm can be packed and long wait. Can’t wait til next time.
