This place was my go to for a minute! I used to live almost 5 minutes away from here when it was open. The food is as AMAZING! I moved and one day I remembered this place, tried to order my usual wings, and found out it's closed!! It says temporarily on the yelp page so I really pray that's true because this place was really a blessing. If you guys open again, I promise to come as often as I did when I lived 5 minutes away. It's a further drive but definitely worth it.

Best vegan burgers and nachos! This has been my go to place ever since. This place is like a hole in a wall. Not much nearby but people come and go to this restaurant only! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try vegan foods with lots of flavor and great service.

So sad, one of my favorite vegan restaurants closes its doors for good. Hopefully these recipes and business model may be turned into a new location or something to where we can have brave bean again somehow. As someone with nut/soy/etc allergy it's so hard to find vegan restaurants that have a mainly allergen free & not heavily processed menu, in Orange County it is almost impossible to find seitan & bean based proteins without it being full of soy or nuts. Brave bean was convenient and the menu items were so unique and everything was great. Long time customer- since "the black bean" and I hope to see something similar like this or the owners next restaurant if possible.

Best burgers and fries in the area. Animal style fries are just as good as In and outs but way better for you and you don't feel sick from all the dairy after either. Do your body and the planet a favor and eat here, support your local business. My whole family loves to eat here even the non vegan ones it's so good.

Got the Vampire Slayer and loved how crispy the "chicken" was! This burger was tall and almost too garlicky... almost. Will still come back time after time as their sandwiches/ burgers are consistently tasty! Another plus- my dog enjoys the dog treats that they offer.

This place has a bit of everything and love that they have burger patty options. The bbq sandwich made with jackfruit is my favorite. The burgers are also good but not a fan of their nachos or chicken. Overall though it's a good place to try out if you've never been.

After a few bad experiences I decided to try this spot out again "6 months later" and somehow it managed to get even worse. I really used to love this spot but after tonight's experience I think I'm done trying. The food was entirely inedible and I could tell by the confusion in the kitchen it was new staff. I honestly think I would get sick if I tried to eat this as the inside was dark brown and dried out like a rock leaving my wondering why they would even serve this to me. It's a shame seeing such great places ruined by staff that don't care.

I love this place soooo much! I'm obsessed with their jackfruit anything!... The grilled cheese sandwiches are hugh and make me forget that I've given up dairy. The quesadillas are essential, I take one to go no matter what because the reheat amazingly. The burgers and chicken sandwiches always hit the spot and that pulled porque is mind blowing. This is definitely my go to spot when I'm getting that craving don't even care about my 25 min drive. Check your order before you go though I have found it common that I'm missing an item or I get overcharged but their food is just so good you don't even care. It almost reminds me of Seinfeld's soup N*** episode you're willing to take any abuse because the food is sooooo good you'll do anything to get it!

This place is delicious! Awesome burgers and so much more! The jalapeño burger was my fav! Loved being just down the street from Brave Bean for a quick, delicious vegan meal.

I found this on Yelp and was so excited to try this. This vegan spot is great and has really figured out the art of tasty vegan that's not the standard avocado toast every "vegan" spot offers. The chicken Caesar salad with crispy chicken was EXCELLENT. The beyond meat sausage hot dog was amazing, the bun was just as incredible. The pop chicks were HUGE. I thought they would be small but they are far too large, I got honey bbq which was tasty but after eating 4 I was absolutely done, they were crispy on the outside and delicious too. Anaheim is lucky to have this spot. Would recommend absolutely!

Upon entering, I was greeted by many enthusiastic welcomes--this was super appreciated as it appeared to be a slow Sunday evening yet the staff still seemed upbeat. As I waited in line, I was reading their signs about how the establishment is animal and environmental-friendly. I was already impressed, but when I got my order (Staff Favorite crispy "chicken" sandwich), I was floored--my first bite was amazing! I'm a chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant and can be particularly critical of eating out, but was so incredibly delighted by this meal! Cheers to the owner and management team for creating a space that delivers flavors and maintains (what seems to be) a healthy and positive atmosphere for the employees.
