The potatoes bolanis, cream rolls and chocolate cake slices are delicious. The rote is very delicious too, especially the rote for the 40th day celebration of a baby's birth. When ordered beforehand, they will bake a big, special rote with almonds. I always get the 40th day rotes for the babies of my family and small sized one to distribute among family.
I have been coming to Balk Bakery since 2007 and their food and pastries have always been super delicious. Their customer service compared to other Afghan restaurants/ stores have always been great and the owners are very warm welcoming couple.
