Good food but they gotta start taking orders correctly. Didn't even get a refund for the wrong item.

Portions are big. Prices are reasonable. Food comes out fast. Only one thing: food is a tad oily. Other than that, 10/10!! Definitely going to buy some takeout next time.

Local Bistro is a restaurant in Fremont offering home style meals and HK cafe favorites. The food is great, with generous portions. Popular dishes include pineapple shrimp fried rice with good “wok-hei” and big pieces of shrimp, hainan chicken rice with good texture, combination B with roasted duck, string beans, eggplant and Beijing pork, popcorn chicken, 煲仔饭, and the grilled chicken sizzling plate. The interior has modern themed decor, though the restaurant can be dimly lit and uncomfortable if the air conditioning is off. Service is average; water is brought after sitting, but guests may need to flag down a server. The atmosphere is chill, and it is open late. Prices are good for the portions served. Overall, it is a pleasant spot to visit again.
