I went there in a Sunday morning to pick up a couple of Dim Sums, preserved egg & pork congee and pan fried turlip/radish cakes, to go. There were plenty of parking spaces. There were 8 or 9 tables inside and the plenty of tables outside. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. The food was steaming hot when I arrived at my destination. Very tasty as well!
The prices are inexpensive. For example, porridge for $7 vs other places for $15. It isn’t crowded and the service was fast. I like how they gave me a huge pitcher of hot water and cold water.
My other go to is Kung Fu Dim Sum but it’s getting so crowded there so this is a good alternative.
The porridge at Joyful is better than Kung Fu. But I like the hot chili oil at Kung Fu better. The sticky rice is good at both places.
