Please, please try the seafood gumbo if you have a chance. It is creamy, flavor and packed with crab,shrimp, sausage,and chicken. Like they give you the crab lump with legs. This place was so welcoming and the service was excellent.

I lived in Mississippi for 11 years and this is the closest I have come to that delicious, amazing food! We had fried chicken and shrimp po boys with macaroni and cheese, homemade cornbread even the french fries are delicious! Service was great super friendly staff

Chef Paul’s is consistently delicious, I would wait 2 hours and pay an arm and a leg for a plate. Chef Paul oversees the kitchen himself and every time I’ve come, I’ve left full and happy. I ordered to go and did not have to wait long but if you plan to dine in, please be patient and tip well! Seating is limited but worth the wait, and again, DO NOT BE RUDE TO STAFF BECAUSE OF WAIT TIME.
Vegetarian options: There are 3 vegetarian options
A bit pricey on a fixed income. But if ya wanna treat yourself...Mmm mmm mm. Great, friendly service. And portionally, they ain't stingie. And if you're trying to make it home with the food... well the aroma might just make that difficult. 😁

We visited on Sunday afternoon, 30 min before closing at 4pm. We opened the door, and the employees at the count said they are closing early. They didn't mention it was an emergency situation.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was steady. We had the shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles. Everything was really good! They were out of green tomatoes (storm in FL knocked out the crop), out of German Chocolate Cake. We had a really good lunch with plenty of left overs.

We got different plates and reviews were mixed. I got the BBQ combo the Tri tip was dry for me. The chili beans I did not like at all. The BBQ sauce was average and the cornbread looked and tasted like it was a mix from a box. Now for the good, the pork ribs and Mac and cheese were great!! Not a lot of meat on the pork ribs but did taste good. Loved that part of the meal. Cozy spot lots of free at this time parking.
Delicious food & the best green beans!!! & Mac & Cheese!!! Good people 👍🏼 don't let the downtown location fool you, the food is terrific!

Gumbo was good no complaints but BBQ plate not so much tri-tip was average ribs were tough under seasoned cornbread needs reworked. Mac n cheese was ok greens average fried green tomatoes ok all in all $88 with a $5 tip I think I'll go elsewhere next time
