This place was like walking back into a time warp of a place I'd visit when I was very young and gave off that old school Japantown vibe! I guess that explains their longevity of being in business for more than 100 years. The glass display cases shuttled me back to the 1960s and loved it immensely! It's hard to critique anything here. The shop is tiny and cute, but appropriate for what you're buying. No frills which is nice compared to many modern day sweets-type shops. They won't take tips, FYI. Lots of options. The girl helping us with our order was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we knew exactly what we were getting.

Didn't expect to find a spot like this in Fresno but found it on Yelp and were pleasantly surprised.
