The cook was having a bad day. Called in an order for takeout with coworkers around lunch time. Ordered the number three combo, and three chicken lunch combos.
The portions were large, but nearly everything was overcooked and oversalted. The fried shrimp was fried to perfection, but the fried chicken was fried into oblivion, and the egg foo yung was blackened to a crisp. Both the fried rice and the chow mein were also much darker than you would experience at most restaurants. Most of the dishes also relied heavily on salt and processed bulk sauces that taste cheap and unbalanced.
The restaurant atmosphere is eerily quiet without much in the way of charm. There aren't even the sounds of a kitchen, just silence, with the occasional street noise. Save your dosh for a place that doesn't let the cook serve slop.

I love buying from here because they give you a lot of food for your money and I'd give it an 8 out of 10 rating for quality and taste. The only issue is that you have to order ahead because they get busy and ordering at the restaurant could take a while. The owners are awesome people who always treat you right.

You have to try the fresh tomato chow mein! My family will order the fresh tomato chow mein and an order of fried rice and everyone Loves it! The plates are huge. We order two plates of both, and a family of 5 can eat on it for two days. Love it!!
