Goated. Food delicious + prices hard to believe for California. Would def come again.
The food was absolutely amazing! For 12.50, I got the supreme burrito and it was worth it in my opinion. Out of both salsas (red and green), I preferred the green salsa because the red one was a little too salty. They both had a good level of spice. Every bite was like heaven, this is exactly how I want my burritos to taste! Will 100% come back and try more food!
There are meals that you enjoy...and then there are meals that reset your standard for what something can be. That's exactly what happened the moment I took my first bite of the birria torta at Lalo's. The torta arrives unassumingly - no over the top presentation or gimmicks, just a toasted roll, wrapped in foil, with that telltale aroma of slow-cooked beef and spices rising before you even touch it. The restaurant has a nice decor and provides outstanding service, ensuring a great dining experience. The Veggie burrito, Bean, Cheese, and Rice burrito, and homemade Horchata are must-tries. Open late, it’s a fun spot that sometimes hosts karaoke nights on Fridays. The staff, including a friendly blonde cashier, create a warm environment, and the meat in the tacos, like fried pork and steak, is highly praised for its quality. Though some customers noted that the beans on the tacos are not their favorite, overall, many enjoy the fast service, fair prices, and authentic Mexican flavor.
