Low-key traditional street taco style food. In my opinion one of the top taco shops in Fresno. The food is fresh and maintains that authentic mexico taste.

I've heard about this joint before, it was my pal Hector Gonzales Gonzales that said next time you're in town you gotta do 2 things..#1 you come and get me, and #2 we go to La Elegante Taqueria for the best tacos in Fresno! Food is super super mid, came with salsa in a very small portion asked for more and got ignored by waitress. Kept getting brushed off by waitress, she continued to attend everybody around us except us. Place is super cramped. STINGY WITH EVERYTHING.

I waited a total of 20 minutes before anybody ever even acknowledged me standing by the register. Never did anyone say hello, or I’ll be with you in a moment. A couple of times workers did look my My Way, but never said a word. I didn’t know if I should wait at the counter or wait at the register. So after seeing others come in after me and sit at the counter I did too. They were served before me too. Once I did order, it came very Quickly. A server did bring my Coke and laid it on the counter far away from me, but I assumed it was mine. I ordered a birria Taco and grabbed my on jalapeños from the bucket on the counter because no worker offered but I saw someone else do it first. The taco was hot and taste good but I don’t think I would feel comfortable coming back, even though the food was good.

Quality of food seems to have gone down. And the portions decreased. The burrito got smaller and price is around $17? The torta; which was my favorite tasted meh and dry. The meat still had good flavor, though. But just this was La Elegante experience that we’re used to. I hope this was a fluke.

The asada anything here is the best in town. They have won the taco truck throw down for good reason multiple times. The staff gets to know you, I come every couple of months and then it still know my order. The only mark I would give them is the location. Its not in the best part of town, extra parking is available in the back but you have to walk through a small alley way. Its a very small building that they have started to renovate but it's still an on going process. It's always full, because they are so good.

La Elegante is a storefront taqueria. The food, employees, and service are quick and great! It's usually very busy, but they are quick.
