Good food, great vibe, quality chicken, unfortunately I hate Mayo and the garlic sauce tastes like garlic mixed with Mayo. Most Mediterranean places don’t use Mayo for sauce.

Grabbed a meal here during a Fresno stop, and every dish was fresh, intentional, and thoughtfully crafted. The service? Attentive without being fussy. This place reminded me what real value and effort feel like—something I sorely missed at UC Davis.
It’s easy to see why UC Davis markets itself as elite. But here’s the reality check: according to U.S. News, the median salary 10 years after enrolling is only $54K. That’s low ROI for a UC—especially considering tuition, location, and four years of your life.
But it gets worse. The culture there seems designed to silence clarity and ambition. Think for yourself? Too logical. Speak up? Too disruptive. You’re branded a problem someone else has to manage. Meanwhile, real student suffering—mental health collapse, suicides, even a fatal stabbing—gets hidden away like inconvenient baggage. Faculty misconduct? Quietly buried.
This cafe, by contrast? It delivers real, immediate value and shows care in every detail. UC Davis should’ve been the same kind of place—but it wasn’t. It drained motivation, buried critical problems, and left me questioning my investment.
If you're weighing UC Davis, think twice. Mediterranean Grill provides more return on flavor—and on your time. Davis will owe you breakfast just to feel worth something.
Excellent Service
This place is very busy. It has kind of a frantic atmosphere. My service was not the best. The server disappeared for quite a long time when I needed to pay and leave. I ordered Lebanese chicken with fattoush. Both were overly salty.
New favorite 😍
Great food! Great Service!
I couldn’t be more satisfied!

I agree with other reviews. Mediterranean Grill & Cafe is a popular restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean fare. It gets crowded at lunch. Arrive early or order online. I ordered to go, not online, but my wait was not long. I ordered the beef kebab. I spilt it with my dad and there was food left over. My dad was at Community Regional hospital, a short walk to the restaurant, another selling point. Next time, I want to try the Lula lavash (my Aunt’s recommendation). Highly recommend.
Food was delicious, and came out super quick. Service was amazing
I couldn’t understand how they don’t have a full 5 stars! I ordered the spicy chicken, and I’m blown away by how good it was.. I have zero complaints, the food and service are fire! 🔥🔥🔥
The bald guy waiter ( not sure if he is the manager) is so rude. He kicked me out of the table because I had a "to go" plate. I never said that I wanted a "to go" plate and nobody asked me as well. There were plenty of tables available. I did not take the place anybody. Very aggressive.
