Very savory. The service was very helpful and observant. The bill was good for what you get.

So, my girlfriend and I came to Mimi's Kitchen i believe a few months ago. I ordered the Pho and I was impressed and honestly probably the best bowl of pho I had in town. There was no need for me add in anything at all. A few months passed and my girlfriend and I came back to Mimi's kitchen and saw it as "Sticky Rice". Obviously with new management and a new kitchen staff, I knew it wasnt going to be same pho Ive had. Of course, it wasnt. I just want to ask, Can someone point me to the direction on where that chef might have gone? lol

So the food is still tasty here under it's new life as Sticky Rice. Had a papaya salad which thankfully was not firey hot like the last one I had. Also had spring rolls and drunken noodles which were stealthy hot. Wasn't overly hot in my mouth but made my head hot! It's in da hood, but clean and tidy. Give them a try.

My friend and i were craving some Laos food but apparently they closed early because maybe business wasn't that busy. We arrived at 7:40PM and yelp listed they closed at 9:00 PM but the signed said they closed at 8:00PM.

We called the place and no answer. We assumed they are busy. By the time we went there at around 4:30 pm, the sign is CLOSED. During Friday afternoon? Are they closed for good? According to Yelp, they are open until 9pm. Hmmm... it's so confusing.

I love their kao poon here; not the nicest of area but the food is great. Their cucumber and papaya salad is great as well.

Idk if it's new owners but I use to always go there and the lady who owned it and her husband were always so friendly and nice but today I had ordered for pick up and the girl on the phone did not no nothing at all . And on top of it they served me raw chicken and that chicken is for my daughter to eat so now I'm pissed. Called back 8times and no one answered and my husband was literally there 15mins ago. So idk if their ignoring my calls intentionally or the girl working put the ringer on low.

Decided to go check this place out because of the great reviews! Unfortunately there was nothing great about this place. The waitress was not friendly but I just ignored her and proceeded to order fried chicken wings, fried pork ribs, pho, and sticky rice. We waited 20-30 mins for our food and finally when we got the wings and pork ribs, they both were undercooked. Didn't get an apology or offered anything else. Will not be back and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place! The staff here are friendly, the restaurant is clean and open. The food, I forgot what the name is called, but it's like a curry noodle soup with ground pork and pork blood and it's amazing. By far the best Laotian restaurant I've eaten at. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. Will definitely come back for more.

I order a couple dishes along with a large pho to split it with my daughter sister and mom. After splitting up the pho I found a string of hair in it. My sister went and told the girl and she said she'll only give us a new one but a medium size one cause we ate most of the pho already. WTF! How when we split the pho. When she bought out the second bowl we end up not wanting to eat it anymore cause who know what they did to it. They thought that we want to get more food out of them. Nope never going back there.

Love love love their food. Parking is tight and location is not the best but they are amazing! Lovely staff and also very clean. It's the restaurant for me. Reasonable prices and DELICIOUS food. If you want Lao food, you should come here. I've tried many places and they are over priced + not as good. This place makes it 10x's better and is cheaper. Can't emphasize that enough LOL idk if many people know where it's at but support it if you can! I don't want to see it go! My new favorite place! THEIR EGGROLLS ARE ALSO ON POINT! Just like homemade eggrolls and not cheap egg rolls. PORTIONS ARE AMAZING!!!!!

Delicious hole in the wall for Lao/Thai food. The restaurant is not located in the best side of town and definitely easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Parking can be tight. Lots of seating inside. Friendly service. Credit card accepted, woo! Mee ka-ti- this is a yummy bowl of sweet curry noodles made with coconut milk, grounded pork, egg, and pork blood cubes. Topped with crushed peanut and cilantro. The rice noodles are like the ones used for pho. Added the greens/herbs and squeezed a lemon into the bowl. Lots of flavor. The portion was huge. Don't know what to order? Try this especially if you're a noodle girl like me :). Combination lad nah- this is pan fried wide noodles topped with shrimp, squid, fish balls, crab meat, and vegetables. Reminds me of chow fun. Also big portion. Deep fried pork ribs- got this as a side. Came with a spicy chile sauce. Highly recommend! Tastes authentic. Can't wait to come back next time!

Stopped here for lunch today, and left satisfied. The food and service was great. I loved how clean it is compared to many Asian restaurants here in Fresno. My favorite dish from here is the noodle salad. I ordered the #6 boat noodle with a Thai tea. My husband ordered the combination pho with a nam vaam. We thought the good was great, we will be coming back when we stop in Fresno.

One of the best places for authentic lao food! Hands down!.. chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly and so was the fish.. the thum mak thang can come off a little sweet so I asked them to tone it down with sugar..4.5/5
