Never noticed this restuarant until the other week. Decided it was time to give it a shot and the shot returned with flying colors. Any review that says the food was bad, definitely tripping. Walked in, was greeted by a chef that immediately welcomed new guests to the establishment and offered great recommendations for sushi and plates. You cannot go wrong on the lava cake roll, sushiyaki special roll, and dragon roll! Don't forget that New York steak with bacon fried rice plate....read full review

Was looking for a new sushi close by my house. Sushiyaki did not disappoint! Their menu is small, BUT everything on the menu is good if not great.We hope so much they keep the lava cake roll!! It was the best roll I've had in Fresno in my 3 years of living here.Sushiyaki, we will be back!

Very tasty teppanyaki takeout. The meat is cooked very well and same with the bacon fried rice. Their sauce is also quite tasty as well. I would definitely recommend to try this place out.
