“This place is an absolute hidden gem and a must-visit for vegetarians/vegans if you are in the area. We went there for dinner and the staff were extremely kind to us, and they even gave us complementary nachos since our order was taking a while to be prepared; without us even asking how long it would take! The food was amazing and the proportions were very filling and worth the price. We paid ~12-15 dollars for an entree and we could choose between vegan or vegetarian. Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone in the area!!“

“I love the outdoor patio seating. There is a huge fountain in the center of the patio, large plants all around, and it has a ‘Paris Cafe’ feel. The food is reasonably priced, for the amount of food that you get. The food is delicious every time. Everything on the menu is delicious! I would highly recommend the Breakfast House. They make the best Belgian waffles in town and they use fresh strawberries, whipped cream and cinnamon sugar dust! The bacon is crispy and savory and the eggs are fluffy and rich. The crepe eggs Florentine were delicious as well! They also have a full bar, so you can enjoy a mimosa with your brunch!“

However I've never ordered over the phone nor given them my number even though someone did, and ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple. I explained this to the manager who kept wanting to check my order to see What I ordered the last time. I explained it must have been someone using my credit card but that I have never ordered over the phone. I haven't given them my number. Period. No matter how long we talked he couldn't understand what I explained I've ordered at least 10 times. After 10 minutes I gave up but I'm very disappointed. They make an excellent pizza and I'm starving. I called and apologized for getting frustrated but that doesn't solve the problem...I still don't have any dinner. Apparently in order to get what I want I have to go in to the shop. That's the only problem I've got with this place and but it's still frustrating!“

“We’ve had dozens of pizzas across the country in recent years and this was one of the best of all time. The Chicago Deep Dish is comparable to popular Chicago restaurants (no lie), and I also recommend the California Combination.

“Food was amazing it made up for the customer service that there was one lady with short hair. that was just giving us his dirty looks. I don’t know if that’s just her face or how she is but other than that everything in the location was great. We just ignored her. The prices were amazing I was taken there by my crazy Tia Anna. She knew a lot of them there. The owner to the location was very nice. He even gave us some free Carnitas to taste. Oh my gosh they were so good or Carnitas over a hard taco anytime. Never had it like that, but it was amazing. Like I said the prices were amazing very cheap and everything was so stuffed. I would definitely recommend for anyone and everyone to come out here. This place is amazing cheap prices. They’re super fast and they had so much food so much Carnitas so much hard tacos regular tacos, Chicharron Menudo I mean they had you hooked up in there I’m definitely going back to Fresno. “Great First Experience at Mad Duck

Stopped in for the first time on a Thursday evening and had a great experience. The menu was smaller than expected, but the quality made up for it. We started with the calamari appetizer—crispy, well-seasoned, and paired with flavorful dipping sauces. Easily one of the highlights of the meal.

I ordered the steak salad and was genuinely impressed. The dressing had a nice tang, the greens were fresh, and the bold flavor of the blue cheese complemented the tender steak beautifully. The other entrée at our table was the Goat Cheese & Bacon Burger, which got high praise for its rich and savory flavor profile.

The Citra beer was easy-drinking and smooth, with a clean flavor that paired well with the food. Refreshing without being too heavy.

Service was excellent—our server, Jesse, was intuitive to our needs and stayed attentive throughout the evening without hovering.

All in all, solid food, great drinks, and welcoming service. I’d definitely go back.“

“So far the best NYC style cheese I had here in Fresno. Not too salty, or over-seasoned or hella greasy like other places here in Fresno. Freshly food, nothing pre-prepped (so it’ll take a min to make your order (7-15mins), and prices are greatly affordable.
Plus stays open till late in the night. If your hungry and craving something than I say give this place a try.

“This is the cutest little Cafe nestled into the Gazebo Gardens Nursery, it shares a wall with a gift shop, which is also the CUTEST gift shop. I ordered my classic vanilla iced latte with oatmilk, it was delicious. The latte was flavored nicely, not too sweet, and it was strong. I woke up extremely early that morning and needed a pick me up in the afternoon and this latte did just that. The service was very nice, seemed to be family owned ? Very kind and uplifting energy. I was there on Superbowl Sunday so it wasn't too busy, I imagine on normal Sunday's it probably gets really busy.“

The bartenders are friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a great craft beer and wine selection.
