Love that they let you put your own amount of sauce on your tacos. Great place!

I saw this food truck after looking for furniture. I ordered a carne asada taco and a chicken quesadilla. The trimmings were on a table nearby and I was happy to see grilled onions and jalapeños. I only tried the red salsa and it was tasty and spicy. The carne also had a good flavor and noticed no bits of fat. I want to add that the quesadilla was just okay without the trimmings but after adding the extras, cilantro, onions, cabbage mixture and salsa it was soooo good. Oh, I forgot they make homemade corn tortillas, yum. Will definitely be returning. They are located at the corner of Shaw and Blackstone.

Best taco I've had so far. They even put out of their way to work in the rain, they had tents so the food wouldn't get wet. I really hope you go here.

Food was okay; my asada was really tough to chew and food was medium cold. The girls looked exhausted and ready to leave home. 2nd time here but this was my last. Sorry y'all. The atmosphere is nice I love the big tv.

My wife and I just want to keep coming back. It's a quaint and homely restaurant with the personal touches that make you feel comfortable, like the space was made for you. The staff is all helpful and prompt. The food is beyond delicious. I couldn't believe how good the red mole was, and ugh I don't know why more places don't have Oaxacan chorizo because I swear it is the best. I only wish they had enfrijoladas... maybe I can talk them into making me some lol. Seriously though, just be careful with the salsa. I tell people that I learned to speak Spanish by eating that stuff, it's that powerful. See you again soon!

The service was great. The waitress offered a horchata with prickly pear syrup and melon added, it was delicious! The taco meat was dry and could have been more flavorful but overall not bad. We've had other items in the past that were good. Chips were store bought which didn't taste as good as house made chips. The salsa was spicy but still had great flavor.

This place was sooo good! To be honest we were looking for another place but it was closed my husband pulled over and thank God he did because the food here was so delicious! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is your spot. We had tacos that were so tasty and mole that was just right with fall off the bone chicken! The servers were super attentive and very nice! The decor definitely reminded me of my time in Mexico. The bright colors are so inviting. I highly recommend this place.

After watching a special on Mexican culture and foods, we had a craving for Mole Negro. It is a special dish unique to Oaxaca Mexico. The origin of this Oaxaca style of Mexican foods is from the Meso American Pre-Colombian time period. The mole sauce is made from cacao. Chocolate comes from the cacao bean. It was a favorite of indigenous pre-Colombian rulers. Mole is still a favorite food in Mexican culture today. On one of our travels in Mexico, we toured many areas in the state of Oaxaca. There several types of mole. Our favorite was mole negro. There is a great Mexican restaurant here in Fresno that features mole. We have eaten at this restaurant several times over the years. It was called the Oaxaca Restaurant. It has a different name but the food so far is the same. We ordered the Mole Negro dish which includes chicken in the rich flavorful mole sauce, beans and rice. It also comes with homemade corn tortillas. The combination of these items makes the meal come alive! It is so delicious. They have an interesting menu. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Door Dash will bring your order right to your home. The service is good and the ambiance is friendly. Try it today. It is a very special treat. Enjoy!

I hadn't been to Oaxaca Restaurant in quite a few years, and a friend suggested stopping by. What a great idea! What I liked most about this place was their moles, and I was really looking forward to some authentic Oaxacan mole. This place did not disappoint. I got their enchiladas topped with red mole, Enchiladas de Coloradito. Coloradito is a special mole of Oaxaca and is typically made from ingredients such as raisins, plantains, various peppers, and yes, chocolate. What a special treat! It has been so long since I last had coloradito (which was at this restaurant, no less)!Addressing some of the other recent comments: yes, they do take credit cards, in fact. (I had no problem paying with mine.) And, yes some of the wait staff only speaks Spanish. Big deal! It's Mexican food, from Oaxaca no less! For goodness sakes, that fact only adds to the ambience of the place, and to just how special it is.Enjoy!
