Stayed here during a work trip for a few days. The place is ok, at best. Staff isn't super friendly and it's not in the best part of town. The room seemed clean for what it was, but honestly I probably wouldn't stay here again.

My reservation check in time was for Monday 4/22 at 3pm and my reservation says I have to check out on 4/23 at 11am so I arrived on 4/23 at 3am, which only gives me 8 hours inside my hotel room (which I was totally okay with). I arrived at the hotel at 3am and I spoke to "Alex" at the front desk. He told me that I was kicked out of my reservation because I took too long to arrive at the hotel. I asked him if he could get me another hotel room and he said no. So now I'm left with no place to sleep, kicked off without my permission or without even given a phone call, and Alex didn't even try to get me another room even though I already paid for my hotel stay. I told him that I would be sleeping inside my car and asked if I could at least stay in the parking lot and he said no. Absolutely worst customer service ever at this hotel. Never coming back here ever again and I will be sure to let my family members and friends know about my experience here

Although this wasn't the worst stay I have had, it wasn't the best either. I stayed here in early October 2023 for a few days. The worst part was the smell in my room. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioner and since I was only there for 2 nights, I just dealt with it. When my coworker came to my room, she said it was so gross (I guess I got used to it). I did tell the front desk staff when I checked out.The location was good, right by the freeway. My room was comfortable, and they didn't mess up the billing with my virtual company card which was nice since it was my first time using it. The pool was nice too.We are staying here again in two weeks for another work trip and I plan to do another review in hopes that it is good or maybe even better.

The staff here is the best!! I'm so bummed I didn't write down names, but two ladies who are running the front desk are amazing - one was doing double duty helping at the Bistro - and was able to get me change/quarters for the laundry machine! So friendly and helpful!! The young man running the Bistro was super friendly and prepared me a flatbread so quickly!! It's was great! The pool is deeper than most hotel pools, which I really appreciated as I got a great workout. Daily housekeeping service was awesome, too. I'd definitely stay here again.

Dude. Maybe if my name was Fred fuckin Flinstone and I was from Bedrock id have something nice to say about this place. But good god. Who picked out these matresses? Its like laying on a slab of concrete with some cheap ass carpet padding on top.We toss and turn all night because after a few hours of sleeping on one side, we wake up with our hips aching and shoulders sore from this bed straight out the concrete yard. Buy some new damn beds!

Comfort, food, service were all outstanding. Beds were super comfortable. Many relatives stayed here for a wedding and we all loved the hotel, breakfasts and lunches, layout, gym was very well equipped, staff was always helpful. Thanks you!

DO NOT STAY HERE! This used to be my preferred hotel when traveling to Fresno, but the last time we visited, May 2023, our room was broken into and all of our belongings were stolen. The hotel staff believed the cause the be a malfunctioning lock on our sliding glass door.To make matters worse we have not been compensated and our attempts at contacting the hotel manager for support have been ignored. My emails have been ignored, or I've been told someone will reach out to me only to never hear back. I am a Marriott rewards member and am absolutely sick with the lack of support in the aftermath. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. Nothing ruins a trip like losing everything you came with and then being told that the hotel is not at fault.

I was asked to leave last night after being parked in the parking lot for 5 minutes enjoying the sounds of water. The WHITE trailer tr*sh security guard with speech impediment who sounds like he didn't finish high school and makes $12 an hour was showing his EXTREME racist personality. He was accompanied by ANOTHER middle aged white man (I'm assuming a manager of sorts, who also makes $12 an hour, who didn't say anything and stood behind him like a COWARD; or scared dog, if a you will. I do NOT recommend this place. The SECURITY guard should be FIRED and I will be reporting him. Those people let their little outfit go to their head. They're not cops, they're pretty much the lowest of the low, so he should calm down. Told me I was being sketchy, listening to my music and browsing my phone. I was about to check in, I was taking my time, and he asked if I was a guest. I said "no, I'm not, not yet" and he said "well, you need to get TF outta here."Extremely rude. He's lucky I wasn't looking for trouble!

One word......dude....go to the Courtyard in Clovis. You're welcome. I've been coming to the Fresno Courtyard since 2014 for work and something was going on in town and had to book an extended night up north in Clovis out of necessity. Maybe a 7-10 drive. ITS BRAND NEW! Staff is awesome. Full bar with a bartender actually tending bar. Not just a bunch of lonely, sweaty beer taps waiting for people to return from break. Clovis. Do it. Love it.

I was at this hotel for 10 days for a business trip, I'll say that some aspects were great while others were just so-so. The room was adequate, I had requested a first-floor room which I did get. No bathtub, only a shower, that was disappointing. It had a nice little patio with two chairs and a table which was nice, but the sliding glass door was very difficult to slide open and closed, and the screen door was not even in its tracks, it was just leaned up against the sliding door. That wasn't the end of the world but something to note. The glass door would automatically lock when you pushed it closed so be careful not to lock yourself out! There were a couple of gnats and a mosquito in the room when I first got there but nothing like roaches or anything like that, they probably came in through that sliding door. Nothing that I couldn't deal with. Most Marriotts that I've stayed at have free breakfast but this location has a Bistro so no free meals. Just be aware of that, when I read reviews prior to my trip I thought I'd seen some reviews on free breakfast but there is not one. I only ate at the Bistro once and the food was delicious, so I can recommend the restaurant. It has very limited hours, only open at breakfast and dinner, so don't be expecting lunch or mid-afternoon. The other downside is that they do not have a hotel shuttle, that is important if you don't have your own transportation. Many of the hotels I've stayed at have a shuttle that will take their residents to stores within a 2-3 miles, which is a wonderful service. This location has no shuttle, which was particularly important to my whole business group during our stay, so that was a significant drawback, and would probably stop us from staying there again. If it weren't for the shuttle issue then i would recommend this hotel and would probably stay there again. Unfortunately, it's a pretty big drawback so it is not likely to happen.

My son and I were guests here this past weekend. We came to Fresno for the CA State Taekwondo tournament. I had booked a room with two double beds for one night (we got room #326). The tournament ran very late and I ended up booking a second night via cellphone. For the second night, I chose a room with two queen beds instead (we got room #250).First, let me say that the hotel is clean and contemporary. The front desk clerk confirmed that they did a remodel during the pandemic. By the way, desk staff were friendly and personable. The area is safe and set back a ways from the main road (W. Shaw Ave). However, it is right next to the freeway and you can hear road noise. Our tournament was downtown at the Seland Arena. I am glad we booked a place away from downtown as downtown seems to be a ghost town after a certain hour with no restaurants.I liked the Paul Mitchell shower products available (see photo). So here's why I'm going with a three star review and not a five...the double beds in room 326 were terrible...no support. The pillows were not good as well...like they had no stuffing/filler material. My back and neck were aching the neck morning. I am wondering if they didn't replace these during the remodel? Or purchased lower grade items??? smhBut, we stayed a second night in room 250. The two queen beds and the pillows were great! I am really confused as to why the drastic difference.Because the beds are most important to me, I have to give Courtyard a three star on this visit. If staff is reading this, check into the double beds and replace. If your a viewer of this review, I would advise you to stick with the queen rooms.Last little thing, the bathroom door in 250 squeaked very loud. It was annoying to people who were still trying to sleep. I wondered if housekeeping observed this when they cleaned the room. It seems like an easy fix...put a can of WD40 on the cleaning cart and use it when necessary.Yes I would recommend.

By far the best hotel that I've stayed at in Fresno, California. Most of the hotels are really run down or outdated. Courtyard by Marriott was fresh and clean inside out! From the parking, lobby, to the room. Great customer service to break the ice as well. As for location, it's in a nice area surrounded by restaurants and stores. Traffic can be quite busy during lunch and dinner hours but dies down after 8:00 p.m.The hotel consist of 3-floors, surrounded by a parking lot with easy access doors in and out of the hotel. The rooms are updated with the latest and greatest. The shower was my favorite. The quality Paul Mitchell shampoo and body wash was great! Attention to details! The King bed was comfortable and the room came with a sofa bed as well, which I did not use. The room could've comfortably fit 3-4 people if you just needed a place to rest.I stayed here for 3-nights and left happy. Moving forward, this is where I still stay for now on!

I love this place always quality food & service. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Food is like a place in Baltimore I liked.

Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. Looking forward to returning with my friends. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.

Opens at 6am. If your wait 5-10 minutes, all the "gotta have my coffee" group is gone. The food is freshly prepared and quite good. Marriott has really improved their image with the Bistro.
