“Friend celebrates bday here and I had no idea it was even there! Uostares at table mountain casino. it was so delicious. I had the sea bass. Excellent. Cooks perfectly and the vegtables, rice and everything else was delicious. The cocktails before and deck view while we waited was very nice touch for a fabulous evening!“

“Wow! What an all-around amazing dinner experience! There aren’t many top notch restaurants here in Fresno, and especially not top-notch Japanese. We had a reservation, and our visit did not get off to a great start because we had to wait for a good 15-20 minutes to be seated. We didn’t complain as we could see they were slammed and the host staff looked genuinely concerned about the waiting guests. As soon as we were seated, the manager appeared with a delicious appetizer which she had comped us, as she noted that we had waited, and felt bad. That reset the whole tone of our experience, as I have to admit we were slightly frustrated at the wait, but it was handled so professionally and graciously. Tim, our server was amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave top-notch service! And the food! It was absolutely outstanding! Especially our nigiri sushi, which was so fresh and melted like butter in the mouth. I also ordered the seared umi scallop dinner, which I can’t actually recommend, as the scallops were somewhat over cooked and chewy, but the risotto and reduction were good. That being said, everything else was just outstanding, and we will definitely be back! Also, the decor, and atmosphere is spot on! We highly recommend!“

“My family and I have been going there for 5 yr or so and we love it! We love the remodel. Just recently we went to there 2nd location located where the old Wasabi was there menu is a little bigger and love the decor there. Over the years since we frequent Sashimi Express as often as we do we have gotten to know Sammy and Juni the owners they are wonderful people and so is there staff at both locations. Clovis Community Hospital also carries some of there items for lunch and they sell out quickly.“

The food was very good & portions were generous. Service fell just short of great as we never really knew who our server was. There were also no prices ever listed on a menu for nigiri.“

“The cook John was great. He was engaging and funny instead of going through the motions like some cooks do. Food was great too. Not a complaint just a suggestion, the waitress could have been a little more personable and enthusiastic. She wasn't bad but not great, very quiet and didn't say your welcome when thanking her. Other that good visit and will request John.“

“First time here today. Arrived at 430, right on time for dinner. Food was excellent. Very fresh and hot. Sushi's were okay, didn't order much. Sashimi hit the spot. Service was quick and fast. We will love it if Tsukiji offered Real Chopped Wasabi, but not a big deal, just personal preference. Jared took care of my family well. He was very tentative and gives great suggestions. He was very kind and always checking up on us. Really glad we came to Tsukiji. Thank you for the excellent services.“
