Had burgers in the restaurant and took a burrito and rolled tacos to go along with a cookie and a delicious vegan tres leches cake. Burgers were incredibly tasty. toppings fresh and good proportions. The kind staff put all of the toppings for our wet burrito & tacos separately so when we got home to San Diego, the reheat was simple and with the unmolested toppings, another yummy meal! Sad that its so far away from us, but we will visit when we go to LA again!
This place has my favorite vegan Mexican food in SoCal, BY FAR. The Cali baerito with jackfruit is my favorite thing. Tbf, it's the only thing I've had of their mains bc I just love it so much. It set the standard for jackfruit so high and nowhere else I go makes theirs this good. One time they had those lofthouse style cookies and that was delicious too!
The tacos were satisfactory. The burrito, however, was somewhat dry and overly substantial due to the inclusion of fries. This establishment offers efficient counter service and ample seating, catering well to vegetarians seeking a taco experience.
