Usually, when I go to Black Bear it's a pleasant experience but not today. The server was not very friendly. I ordered a bowl of chili with a cornbread muffin. It took a long time receiving my order. By the time I received my food it was cold. The butter did not melt because the cornbread muffin was cold. I had to ask for another glass of water. I was thinking about having a scoop of ice cream afterwards but she came over and slammed my receipt on the table, so I didn't....

I never knew this franchise existed until my girlfriend and I wanted to try somewhere new. It was such a cozy experience and the staff was very friendly. The food isn’t out of this world, but it hits everything just right. Large portions and reasonable prices. The Bigfoot isn’t nearly as big as the name would imply, so don’t be scared away by it, hahaha
