In the area, found this place and want try out the foods but found the food was simple. The portion is small for what you paid. You should try this restaurant for yourself and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Place was very clean, modern and very cute.I was a bit shook that the price point for my salad was at a next level premium. $18 for 5oz on a minimal bed of greens. I was expecting a bit more but I suppose it's my fault. I assumed the description wasn't literally "salad with steak" . It was super flavorful though! I'd order again if it at least had more greens or like a little more substance to it.All the others around me had huge portions that looked really well prepared. I think I just ordered wrong. I'll come back for a second try. Service is a bit slow but I'm ok with that. I appreciate service workers and all that they do. Plus everything is likely made to order.

Tasty food, great service, and I will definitely come back! Recommend oxtail fried rice.

We ordered the oxtail fried rice and skillet cubed filet mignon. The oxtail fried rice was so good and definitely will be ordering it again when I go. There was so much flavor in this dish and it was delicious. The skillet cubed filet mignon was okay. The fries were kind of thin in my opinion and felt like it would've been better with thicker fries. The food overall was pretty good.

I went to Lemon Sole around 6:15 pm on a Sunday, expecting it to be very busy but there were no patrons present. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean. The one employee I saw got up from the back of the restaurant and greeted me, took my order and then invited me to sit while I waited. I ordered the oxtail fried rice, and with tip my bill came out to $22.The oxtail fried rice was great, with some but not too much spice, well seasoned, and still warm by the time I got home. The egg on top had crispy edges but a nice runny center. Just the fried rice was more than enough to fill me up for dinner.

Lemon Sole is a hidden Vietnamese gem in Fullerton. Great interior decor and even better food! Their customer service is fantastic...you feel like you are at a family get together. My wife and I stopped by Saturday afternoon for a bowl of Pho. My wife chose the brisket and I went for the Special Pho. Their broth is sooooo good. Our host told us they make their broth from scratch...low and slow. Our host also brought us a new dish they will be adding to their menu...Egg noodle with beef stew! The beef was so tasty and soft, while the egg noodle had a very nice chew to it for contrast. We highly recommend Lemon Sole for any fan of flavorful Vietnamese cuisine!

Great service, music and food was amazing! We ordered the Oxtail Truffle Fries, Oxtail Fried Rice, Skillet Cubed Filet Mignon & Meatball Pho! Amazing flavor, seasoning was perfect and the Thai Tea was money! Definitely recommend coming here! Will definitely be back!

Great Vietnamese food to be found in Fullerton! I normally don't travel too far away from Little Saigon when I need my fix, but I tried this place on a whim when we were in the area. Had the Pho, egg Rolls, and Shaken beef. My buddy had the vermicelli and pork. Pho was the best around, and a very generous portion for the price. Almost enough for two people. The egge rolls were authentic and the shaken beef was seasoned just right. I'll definitely eat here again when I'm in the North Orange County area. Service is top notch, and im pretty sure the lady who served is was the owner. 5 stars for food and service!

My fiance and I went here yesterday as we both weren't in the mood to cook. We wanted to try something we have not tried in the area for lunch, checked my handy dandy yelp app then "Pop goes the weasel" ...lol - Lemon Sole was first in their recommendations. The place is nice, good casual ambiance and spacious but you can pretty much tell this is catered towards to bustling college town of Fullerton, service was friendly and the place is clean - I love the 80's background music too! thought that was a nice touch. Parking is ample as it is located in a strip mall together with other fast food and snack joints. We ordered the Spring Rolls, Filet Mignon and the Garlic Noodles with steak. The Spring rolls were a bit of disappointment as it felt like it was fresh out of the fridge - it made me worried a bit as we didn't get off to a good start until the main order arrived on our table; My Filet Mignon was wonderfully cooked, tender chunks of beef tossed together with well seasoned fries and a flavorful sauce, a side of steamed jasmine rice and spring salad, I absolutely enjoyed my meal, good portion size which I am happy to report was truly satisfying. My fiance had the Garlic Noodles with Steak - perfectly cooked beef rare/medium rare - served on top of this garlicky-delicious mound of noodles, It was the bomb!!! We both loved our meals not to mention getting a free Vietnamese coffee by checking-in on your yelp app! that was a nice icing on the cake!Overall, I really like their main dishes and would be happy to eat here again but next time, I'll stick to the Egg Rolls as this is something any Asian restaurant can't seriously mess up.Cheers!

Visited this place at almost 2pm and was completely empty ?. Tried their oxtail fried rice which was just okay. I wish it could have a little side salad with it ?

I've owned restaurants...Not easy to come up with unique ideas, keep it tasty and within the customer's comfort levels.Lemon Sole was a pleasent surprise. The name reminded me of boring food from the east coast (I'm old) but I was wrong.Garlic noodles A+filet with crispy fries, Asian gravy, rice and salad. A+Tuna avacado mango wrap A++Go next store for some good mango Boba dessert.

Came here with a friend on a Sunday and was not disappointed! Parking was easy as it is in a plaza; Plaza is a little run down and this spot was situated in a small corner -- but that didn't stop us at all from coming! My friend and I ordered the skillet cubed fillet mignon! The food was great. I thought it was going to be salty but it definitely wasn't. Was full of flavor! The only thing was the service wasn't completely there; it was difficult to get the waitress to come help us and had to wait a good while before she came to us or got her attention. BUT, when she did help us out she was wonderful and friendly!

Nice ambiance and attentive service. Vietnamese dishes with a twist. Really liked the soft shell crabs. The steak dish has great flavor; I just don’t like the “fries” as much. Will come back to try more.

I've been looking around for some good asian places to eat for lunch and stumbled upon this asian fusion eatery. It reminded me of my favorite asian fusion place in Fountain Valley so I was very curious to try them out. It was pretty spacious and clean when my coworkers and I went in on a Friday afternoon. Overall, a solid asian fusion eatery in the area, but not sure if it's because they're one of the only few asian fusion places in the nearby area. I'd love to try their garlic noodles and maybe their banh mi the next time to compare.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Located inside the shopping plaza on the corner of S. State College Blvd and E Chapman Ave.-Hidden in the corner, they have a banner as their storefront so we almost missed it-Decent amount of parking spots available. May find it difficult to get to a close spot if you come during rush hour but if you don't mind the extra steps, parking isn't a hassle here.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Thai Tea - I saw that they had a Yelp Check-in offer for a free iced thai tea or vietnamese coffee and was excited to hear when they were still honoring the deal. Usually with Thai Tea, it's overly sweet but this was perfectly sweetened. I'll have to try their Vietnamese Coffee next time.Skillet Cubed Filet Mignon ($18.00) - As it's asian fusion, I wasn't expecting very competitive prices so this was definitely a little pricier than the usual lunch takeout that we would get. The filet mignon was very tender and the flavors were outstanding. On the appearance side, it did remind me of a lomo saltado but it didn't exactly taste like how I'd imagine it would be. It was just very different, but not in a bad way. I did like how there was a strong wok hay taste to it so it paired very well with the jasmine rice. What I did notice about my dish was that it seems like they changed the type of fries? It seems like they use skinnier looking fries rather than regular sized fries. To me, it made a difference because the fries were unable to soak up all the flavor. It just felt like the fries were just tossed in there at the last minute.

I made a reservation for a party of 16 for a weekday office lunch. Even though they were short-staffed due to COVID, the food and service were amazing. Everyone left full and happy. The skillet cubed filet mignon and garlic noodles with steak were popular choices in our group. Support this local restaurant!!
