This is where you can find authentic mazemen in OC. It literally means mix mix noodles and I got the chance to try it at Mogu Mogu's newest location in Fullerton.

I went with the Deluxe and it came with loads of toppings like spicy minced pork, a poached egg, and more chashu pork. You mix, mix, mix as much as you can and enjoy!

Paired it with their Takoyaki which comes in either a crispy or soft shell, or crispy shell in soup! The crispy shell was such a hit for me and I can't wait to be back :)

Thanks for reading! ^-^

Takoyaki was crispy and flavourful. I did not like the mazemen, it was tasteless and did not sit right in my stomach. Noodles were not springy and fresh, ramen broth could have more flavour, but overall not bad. Food was not authentic. Would not recommend. Food did not justify the price.

Mazemen was a new concept to me but I like noodles so why not. Tokyo Mazeman was good. Spicy pork was spicy enough to notice it but not overwhelming. The food was tasty and filling.

Situated in an industrial-looking area, this restaurant is such a pleasant surprise. It’s clean and spacious without being too big and noisy. Lots of bigger tables but also 2-tops if you want to dine alone.

I got the spicy miso and it was umami, spicy, and the broth was amazingly dense and flavorful. It comes with a full egg. Definitely recommend.

The servers were attentive and quick and the manager was all-hands-in as well. It seems as if they’ve recently opened, or perhaps got new waitstaff, as the manager (most likely owner based on his effective attitude) was lightly training them when they had free moments. Based on the interactions between management and staff, I’d bet money this place is going to thrive. They have the teamwork and leadership that makes a restaurant go from good to great.

I’ll be back, I’ll bring friends, and I’ll be sharing this epic find with others. If you’re considering eating here, do it. Totally worth it.

Found this place on a whim, just looking for food in Fullerton and I’m glad we decided to eat here. Any place with 5 star reviews is absolutely worth the shot. The reviews don’t lie. The Mazemen Ramen was new to me and is probably my new favorite type of ramen. The food did not disappoint. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Such a chill casual spot to hang out for their amazing food and draft beers or other alcoholic selections.

Highlights of the menu:
1. Mogu chicken
2. Gyoza (exclusively offered at Fullerton location)
3. Mazemen deluxe
4. Draft beer

How to eat mazemen?
- Snap it!
- Mix it! Mix it well for 30 seconds
- Umami! Mix with their homemade umami vinegar
- Oimeshi! Scoop of rice to soak up all the umami!

Very good Mazemen! Tried the Curry Mazemen, Deluxe Mazemen, and Mogu Chicken. All were really good. If it's your first time here or trying brothless ramen, I would recommend the Deluxe. Came with minced pork, chashu, and poached egg which you mix together. Sooo good with a cold beer (they have Asahi draft). I also ordered a side of kimchi to go with everything.

Would recommend coming during Happy Hour! They have great deals which are different depending on the day of week. For ex Wednesdays are 50% off wine, which are already discounted during HH so it was only $3 for a glass of white wine.

Place can get busy during peak hours but I didn't see much of a wait! Tip: Check in on yelp to get a free side of chilli sauce.

I hadn’t heard of brothless Ramen before, but I’m really glad I did - especially since it’s the summer!

The deluxe mazeman is so beyond delicious. The more you mix, the better it tastes. Once the toppings and vinegar is all combined, the noodles are well sauced, and this is seriously so beyond flavorful!!

We also absolutely absolutely loved their Fullerton exclusive gyoza and the popular Mogu chicken as well. And then for dessert, we were so happy to see that they even offer taiyaki and Matcha cheesecake!

The music was loud and inappropriate. They were playing r&b music that was very graphic about sex, in a restaurant that children can come into. I understand they want to be edgy but I didn't like it. The music would be more appropriate for an adult dance club.
