Never had Mazemen before and it was super delicious! Make sure to add some Umami vinegar, really puts it over the top!

I've never had mazemen before and I would 100% have it again. I had the cheese mazemen and honestly, I felt like that food critic from Ratatouille. I was felt at home from the first bite and by the end of the second one, I was in bliss. I felt like I was transported back to another ramen place I've visited a few years ago where they made the ramen fresh. I wanted the full experience, so I took an allergy pill beforehand so I could try the mazemen and it was worth it. I would totally suffer palpitations again!

Disappointed!Came here due to their high ratings but food and service were both mediocre at best. Menu is also small and only accessible by a QR code. My husband and I got their spicy miso ramen - noodles lacked texture, broth wasn't rich, chashu was fatty and chewy, and they don't let you customize how spicy you want your broth like most places.Cute name but no bueno. Their plaza is also weird - there's no access from State College Blvd so you have to enter through the 'back' on Walnut Ave.For the price, go elsewhere.

One of the best meal I had that was dry noodles and the flavors was fantastic. It was call Tokyo mazemen, it was recommended by the server, great recommendations and the vegan options is amazing too. The noodles was spot on in texture and the flavors is amazing. A must try place. Great quiet free parking lot, decent price and it does match the portions sizes. The staffs were friendly and the atmospheric was nice. Definitely will try it again! Hidden gem!Vegetarian options: Great options to select from and the vegetables were fresh and awesome.

Stumbled upon Mogu Mogu on Yelp and I'm so glad we gave it a try! Parking: Plenty of parking in the plaza lot when we arrived (around 7pm on a weekday). Service: Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable! It wasn't busy when we got here, so we were seated right away. Mogu Mogu is definitely a casual spot - gave me quick in, quick out vibes. Food: Their specialty is mazemen (soupless noodles). I got the Deluxe. It was my first time trying mazemen and I really enjoyed my meal! Definitely on the saltier side, but it hit the spot! They give you instructions on how to eat the mazemen so make sure you follow those (and they give you a little scoop of rice at the end for you to mix in with all the sauce). We also got the fried squid (loved this), Mogu chicken, and for dessert - taiyaki. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be back!

Delicious food. Great service. Excellent price. Easy parking. There are 3 locations, and I've only eaten at the Fullerton location. I totally recommend.

Service was pleasant and fast. They are having a free chicken appetizer with 1 bowl purchase (limit 1 per table). The chicken was tender and the sauce was sweet and spicy. The tokyo is my go-to and it is always good. The noodles were chewy and the egg was perfect. Spicier than I remembered but nonetheless very yummy. They give rice at the end so you can mix it with your sauce. My friend got the curry and it was too spicy for her but she still enjoyed it.

Mogumogu definitely fulfilled our craving for mazesoba! Location: In a small plaza on S State College, plenty of parking. Ambiance: Casual and quite lively. There were 6 of us and we waited ~15 minutes for our table to be ready at 6:30 PM on a Wednesday. Food: I got the Kyoto (non-spicy) and it was so tasty-- authentic mazesoba. A bit on the saltier side if anything, but it was rich and savory with the noodles being al dente. The sauce was flavorful, and halfway through, after adding the housemade vinegar, I was able to continue to enjoy the noodles happily. Portion size is reasonable. They give you a small scoop of rice at the end so you can fully enjoy all of the sauce. Service: The manager was extremely friendly and very attentive for our table. The staff was very helpful as this was the first time some people in our group had mazesoba. They checked in on us a couple of times, refilling waters and making sure everyone was having an enjoyable meal.

Stoked MOGU is now in the hood! We need more Ramen options. This joint might take the cake. Super fresh ingredients, quick service and magnificent flavors. I had to try the broth ramen for my first time, the wife got the broth-less. We both loved it. Definitely coming back. Check it out!

So we were out in Fullerton a few days ago and decided to check out this spot! We got seated right away and parking was easy to find! Kenji was the manager who helped us out and made some recommendations for us. I got the deluxe and it was delicious and they also gave out tiny bowls of rice at the end! Overall, it was an awesome dry ramen experience!

My first time trying mazemen and I can't help but compare it to tsukemen, and unfortunately, I think tsukemen is better by a mile. The mazemen sauce is moderately spicy, and once you get pass the spiciness, that's where the disappointment begins. The "fish umami" is not umami enough, which makes the dish feels like it's missing sodium. Ultimately, it feels like the spiciness is there to mask the lack of depth in the flavor. Maybe the tare to spice proportion is off?Noodle was cooked well, with a real good al dente texture. The appetizer chicken karaage was also good. The mazemen is worth a try, but I would rather have tsukemen.
