Monkey Business Cafe has a comfy and homey vibe that feels like a local favorite spot. This cafe is perfect for being productive or for relaxation. I visited twice on weekdays. Both times were calm with plenty of seating. You order at the register and seat yourself. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I tried the Chilaquiles ($16), Breakfast Tacos ($16), and Chicken Tortilla Soup ($13). The Breakfast Tacos were my favorite — you get two big tacos with egg, chorizo, cilantro, cheddar cheese, plus seasoned potatoes and black beans on the side. Their website mentions that they make their food from scratch whenever possible, and you can tell with the potatoes. The seasoning was perfect. The potatoes tasted fresh and homemade with the skins left on which I loved. All dishes tasted good and were shareable portions though everything could have used more warmth.
The cafe sits next to a neighborhood. The parking lot is small but street parking is available as well.

Ordered Javis breakfast sandwich. Really good, the cheese ans mayo really blend well. Sourdough was good just a little hard and dry on the edges. With hash browns, kinda hard and dry as well Friend had the tots which were way better.

Parking was a challenge but the SERVICE was excellent. Everyone greeted us with a big smile. Positive energy was free-flowing. There were a lot of available tables. I'm glad it's not crowded but it could be because we went there on a Thursday morning.
The food was delicious. The serving is HUMONGOUS which we enjoyed! The pancake was bigger than my face...lol.
I liked my breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, pancake. I didn't like the fruits that came it. The honeydue melon didn't taste fresh at all. But that's forgivable bec everything else was good.
The reason I put a three star on the rating for their atmosphere is because where we're seated, I could smell something stinky which I think came from the bathroom.
I hope they'll clean it better in the future so when we come back, we'll enjoy this place more.
Oh, before I forget, for the amount of food that was served, their prices were so affordable...impressive!

This breakfast cafe is a hidden gem! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and just what I needed to start the day. Service was impressively fast without feeling rushed, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. You can tell they care about creating a welcoming experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for more cozy mornings and great eats!

We just happened across MBC while visiting Fullerton. What a Gem of a place. Food and service were exceptional. It was so good we had breakfast two days in a row. First trip my husband I shared the breakfast tacos and Carmel macchiatos. Next day we shared a breakfast bowl and macchiatos. Whenever we are close we will eat here. We also bought a bag of coffee and a bottle of spice.
Food is not what I expected the carne Asada for the chilaquiles it doesn’t look like carne Asada.

This place was cute. Service is very casual. There are performers who play music here on Saturdays. It's nice if you're mostly watching and eating, but not ideal when trying to catch up with friends.

What attracted us was that it was a Nonprofit cafe benefiting at-risk youth. With that in mind, I want to be gentle with my review.
I ordered Ray's Ricotta Pancakes which was two served with lemon creme fraiche, powdered sugar and housemade whipped cream. Could have used more Lemon creme though whipped cream was delicious. Not worth $14 as they were mostly bland.
Friend ordered Grilled Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich which came with Grilled chicken breast , provolone cheese, tomato, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, mixed greens and chipotle aoili with fries. Sandwich was plain. Fries were very good. $16 a bit steep for sandwich and fries.
🩷 Loved the Horchata Latte 😊
Cafe serves breakfast, sandwiches & organic coffee. It's good for coffee, not for food.
Service was average, friendly, helpful. Overall, a mediocre experience but a feel good cause.

You can ask for no pickles or meat to be cooked a certain way, but don't expect it to happen. The food is good. It is a little pricey for college students.

Hidden gem in Fullerton!! All the food was amazing! So Cal burrito was fresh and the red salsa added to the flavor, the spice was not overpowering. The chilaquiles were soft but crispy, just how you want them. The pancakes were nice and soft!! Definitely recommend to check this place out!!!
