Sabor! Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken y mas!

Food was not good, service was poor, and price did not match the food. We ordered a half pollo a la brasa, a soap de aguadito, and pollo saltado and two drinks. Bill came at $60+. The aguadito seemed like the rushed to make it, and the pollo a la brasa did not have the salsas, which is a very Peruvian thing. Do not recommend it.

Waited 1 hour 10 minutes for our order (togo), then got chicken that looked like this near the bone. Is this undercooked?

i just tried this place after stumbling upon it very randomly. i’m peruvian and i grew up eating peruvian food. living in the oc there haven’t been many restaurants that serve peruvian food; i was DELIGHTED to see that this restaurant was so close to me. guido was who helped me and he was so kind and made the place feel so inviting. i ordered the rotisserie chicken with fries and rice. the chicken is tender and juicy, the fries were crispy and salty. the rice was just like home. i also ordered the maracuya and chicha (HOUSEMADE)… incredible!! i’ve told like everybody i know about this place. will be back to try more items, since this is one of the only places i’ve seen to do so many of the dishes i grew up eating :)

Although the chicken was flavorful and tasty, the quantity provided (especially when compared to the price) was not as ideal as I would have liked. I spent $17 on one piece (leg/thigh) of rotisserie chicken and fries. I could have spent cheaper at a few other different spots buying the same amount/quantity of food! The service was excellent however and the atmosphere was cozy (it's a small place).

Walked in and had to wait for the cashier as she was talking on the phone. We ordered our food and it didn't take long. My son ordered the Chaufa rice with shrimp and steak, which was delicious. It tasted so fresh with the vegetables. I ordered the tallarines verdes with grilled chicken, the green sauce looked dull and it tasted old, the chicken had no flavor at all, and it was rubbery like if it was frozen and run into got water to defrost, the chicken was such a small portion as it was super thin, the sauce was salty as well (most likely because it was simmered several times already). Not sure if we will come back.

Honestly, I’ve been ordering food from here since they opened up. Every time I order either something is missing, they forgot to make the food (DoorDash) or they take way too long. I ordered on DoorDash this week and it said it would take 30 minutes. After I ordered the time went to 75 minutes. I called to ask why the time difference and they told me that it was being made and that it always take this long. When I told them that I order all the time and it usually done in less than 30 minutes, she said that they didn’t have any chicken ready and it takes an hour for it to be made. When I asked to cancel the order and get a refund, they refused. Than they said to call the owner tomorrow. I called 3 days in a row and the owner was never there. I do not like leaving a bad review but I do not appreciate the owner not getting back to me. I lost $80 on food that was never made. I ordered for dinner (6:15pm). I was a long time customer. I hope the owner gets back to me about this at some point.
