About The Ranch 1849 Restaurant

The Ranch 1849 Restaurant offers a buffet with a variety of options, including a salad bar with greens and toppings, warm food sections featuring BBQ chicken, carved turkey, and salmon, as well as hotdogs and hamburgers. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available, such as tofu curry and cheesy broccoli. The buffet changes daily and is available for $25 all-you-can-eat. Recent visitors found the lunch buffet to be decent with limited options but tasty, including tomato soup, lasagna, and dessert. Some guests were surprised by the quality despite the restaurant's remote location, and the prices were reasonable at around $23 per person. Breakfast options are considered great and worth trying, while dinner offers a standard mid-tier buffet. The staff is described as very nice, and it’s recommended to go right at opening hour to enjoy the freshest food, as items may not be replaced throughout the day.

Great value, tasty food. Love the mushrooms with spinach and tomatoes. Potatoes were great! Greek yogurt with macerated berries!
It’s an all you can eat place. Prices vary based on season .. we paid 29$ . It had veg , vegan , non veg all option and clearly mentioned too..
they had some specialty salad , regular salad soup , hot main course and dessert .. the salad and soup were good . But on hot item they really need to work .. fish was not seasoned well and way too salty. Chicken was undercooked , tofu looked good but badly lacked flavor.
They need to work on hot food to make it flavorful rest...read full review
William at the 1849 Saloon is an absolute legend—part host, part historian, part Death Valley survival guide. Came for the milk, stayed for William’s top-tier hospitality. If the milk don’t lift your spirits, William definitely will. Honestly, they should rename it “William’s Saloon” at this point.
